    Great episode, the only part I didn't like was Allison/Isaac, they are so forced and cringe-worthy. Stiles and Lydia were adorable, hope we finally see them together this season

    I was surprised it was such a dark episode. Very scary moments. I do like Kira, and maybe a Scott/Kira pairing.

    Another great episode. I loved the look Derek gave Peter when they turned on the chainsaw. Great to see Awesome Motorcycle Chick back. Sadly, she felt a little less awesome. I think because her entrance wasn't in quite the same league as when we met her in s03e01. That said I did love the woman who cut off Peter's finger. "I'm only going to ask 9 more times." Ha!


    Not so fond of having the twins beating on Scott. Not because have a problem with Scott taking a beat down but because "helping Scott conquer his inner wolf by beating the crap out of him' just doesn't hold up for me logically. When Stiles took a similar approach in season 1 it made more sense. At that time Scott changed when he lost his temper so Stiles attempt to help him overcome that by putting him in situations where he lost his temper had some logic to it. This scene just made no sense..and it didn't accomplish anything.


    The other thing that I think could have worked better were Isaac and Allison. I've never been a fan of dumping her into a different pairing but in previous episodes when they played with it...there was a bit of chemistry in their scenes. I got none of that this episode.


    I really liked the fact that, despite what was going on with them personally they all felt the need to help Melia. I knew when they started this story that regardless of any difficulties or setbacks that the Sheriff would get to return Malia to her father. Love the little dig that Scott's dad leveled at his ex-wife as he stepped in to complicate matters with Malia's father. (By "love" I mean wanted to smack the guy upside the head. @#$$%!) if he'd stayed out of it a lot of people wouldn't have been in potential danger from traps all over the place. All in all I really enjoyed the ep.

    I have so many questions after tonight's episode.... How did Malia become a wolf to shift in the car the night of the full moon? Who changed her to a wolf? I understand she was a werecoyote but why not a werewolf? Is it because she was so young? And will we see more of her being she is a werecoyote or werewolf? I hope to have answers to those questions and that storyline.

    I enjoyed the opening with Peter & Derek and Peters snark... he definitely brought humor to this episode along with Stiles asking the point of Issac and his scarf in 65 degree weather. I felt like someone was definitely reading the comment board when Stiles asked what was his point of being there.



    Stiles & Lydia was awesome. Her talking him through that moment was brilliant of Lydia.



    Kyra~ poor thing... her father is really embarrassing and why is she in his class? She really have a crush on Scott. I can't help but think she's a bad guy though. For some reason the new characters are always the bad ones turned redeemed. I have to say I think the smart thing to do when running from a werecoyote is to go high not hide low.



    Malia dad~ how did he know where to be? How did he know to be at the school & dumb enough to bring a gun to the school? Permit or not!!!



    Scott dad~ I wonder if he's a werewolf too... IDK why I think that would be a interesting twist...


    Allison/Issac, Stiles/Lydia, Stiles/Scott~ the dynamics are good with helping each other through their troubles. I do want to see someone other than Stiles help Scott with his issues.



    Peter/Derek/Motorcycle Chic~ She made a entrance this episode! She was hired by Duecallion? That has me confused... Why did Duecallion hire her to help Derek & how did he know he's in trouble? I understand a girl has to eat but what is her story? Why work for the guy that clawed your face? What is Peter & Derek looking for? And was they be questioned about Malia's whereabouts or another shewolf?


    This episode was really good... Love the ending... it has me wanting more like tonight have a second episodes so I can find out some answers. The suspense is going to drive me insane. I'm glad they are no longer loosing their minds or will they continue to loose their minds?

    Allison did a interview after season 3A & explained how it was hard for the two of them to have chemistry on set because Shaman had just broken up with her. Maybe that's why there's no chemistry there between their characters. I notice the chemistry between them is not there.

    I agree with you on the Nemeton part. I didn't expect fireflies to turn to humans!!

    that's a question we all have (i wish i could be trully hopeful of ever finding out; teen wolf has a thing for keeping 'answers' vague and messing with continuity. we never did find out what the hell the alpha pack really wanted with either Derek or Scott...or why would Kali murder Erica and Boyd. or Cora survived the fire and where she was for all those years... or.. anything really)

    Another great episode! I loved that storyline with Malia the were-coyote. I also liked Kira and the scene with her father.:-)
    I enjoyed all the scenes exposing that friendship it's how and why they all succeed in this episode. Each one of them helped one another.
    And the ending! Wow! I'm scared... and can't wait for the next!

    Loved Kira and Stiles/Lydia in this episode!
    I'm glad they brought back the girl from the season premiere, she was interesting!


    But seriously, Scott's dad needs to go, he's annoying.

    Yeah, we don't know what he really wanted with them but maybe he just wanted to create the perfect pack so nobody could stop him? Erica being killed was because she tried to kill Kali and didn't really need her. Kali made Derek kill Boyd so he can get stronger and wants him to feel the power after killing each member of your pack but I want to know how strong do they really get? Since they don't even look as powerful or strong as Deucalion. Cora was in South America until she heard stories of a Hale being an Alpha that's why she returned I guess she was wandering because she though her entire family was dead.

    She could be there's more than one but the ones we're going to see as the big bad are the group who wear those masks. I'm thinking if she is a Kitsune or something else she might not even know yet.

    In every were-animal story I've ever heard someone is bitten or scratched and they become the same were-animal that bit or scratched them. Malia is a werecoyote because a werecoyote bit or scratched her. My theory is that Malia was bitten or scratched in the month before the accident. Her parents treated it not having a clue that it was anything more than an animal bite/scratch.


    I'm not sure why the original werecoyote was in Beacon Hills 8 years ago and it doesn't really feel to me like they're going to explore it any further than the statement at the end of the first half of season 3 that Beacon Hills had always been a beacon.


    I had a guess about why Duecallion send Awesome Motorcycle Chick. I think it was an part of making amends...returning the favor of his returned sight. It's just a guess.


    Once they clarified that Mailia is a werecoyote (when is Scott dropping by her house to explain to her father what he needs to look out for on the next full moon?) I realized that they Hispanic group wasn't looking for Malia. My first thought was that they were looking for Talia (Derek's mother) but I thought she was dead. Is their information old? Or are they looking for another she-wolf.


    I am still perplexed why Malia could go full coyote. Is the ability just extremely rare with werewolves?


    I have GOT to catch the re-broadcast so I can see the rest of the transformation of the fireflies.

    Ah. Okay. I googled Kitsune and the definition I found said it was a werefox in Japanese folklore. I'm missing the last 30-45 seconds of the episode. It's starting to feel like I missed a half hour. :-)

    Yeah, that's correct but they're also shapeshifters and they're called often called trickster spirits but you didn't miss much it didn't really show what they looked like if you do watch to rewatch it go to MTV they have the episode.
