I haven't watched it because I just found the promos horrible but I feel your pain because Battlestar Galactica people are some of those I would show up almost every time regardless of what they were doing. This fits the bill of the "almost".
I really wish it had been good because Tricia Helfer is a good actress and deserves better. I can only imagine she and her husband are having money troubles, or she owed someone a favour or she was really really drunk when she agreed to do this role. It's cliche, it's hokey and it's very poorly written. And it has Mark Blucas and Jeffrey Nordling - neither of whom I like at all.
This is definitely not doing Helfer any favors. Perhaps she agreed just to get on Vergara's good side. Maybe she secretly wants to be on Modern Family instead. Marc Blucas is growing on me after Necessary Roughness. I've gotten to where I can almost forgive him for Buffy, season 4.
Tricia Helfer really reminded me of KaDee Strickland, like I thought they were related for sure. I liked her in this show, I will keep watching until they cancel it :-( only 7 more episodes, it's worth a shot
I SOOOO agree with irisheyes! Helfer & Strickland look like sisters separated at birth. They even SOUND alike! Maybe they're related and THEY don't even know it!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It was good I'll watch it again
ReplyDeleteThis show was indistinguishable from half a dozen shows and mostly boring. Too bad because I like the leads.
ReplyDeleteKiller soap opera.

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't that bad, it could have been a lot worse. My TV schedule for Tuesdays is packed, so I'll probably won't be tuning in again.
ReplyDeleteJust read this review by THR. Hilarious!

That summed it up pretty well, although I think they held backon how plain boring it was.
