    I could see Jones make it over Dawson because Jones has the family connection and get special treatment meanwhile Dawson don't have the same thing

    I think Jones can make it also because she is competent. While I may not like what she did and she didn't seem to give the guy a chance - raising concerns/challenging the competency or conduct of others should not be taboo. I think Severide was wrong to try and cut her on the strength of that. His behaviour would mean everyone would be afraid to raise concerns when they have them and that's can't be right either.

    It was a good episode, but I don't really like the Dawson storyline they have going on. Liked the new Ambo girl though, that's going to be interesting.
