    Of course :) Not as much as others though. That guy first appears (with Red) in the pilot, right at the very beginning, on the park, before Red goes to the FBI building.

    He was also in episode 5 talking with Red about Lizzy ( at the end when he says "Your future is arriving now") and his plan. Red trusted him with a lot of his secrets.

    Yeah he's been around in a minor capacity throughout. If you watch the pilot again he's the man who gives Red the briefcase before Red gives himself up. He pops up in several of the episodes usually with just a line or just standing there. He was also the guy who met with Tom during the Angel Station incident when Tom claimed he was on an interview.


    So yeah, he was around.

    Well I kinda thought they implied that while some information had come from Red's right hand man the rest came from Alan Alda.

    What self-respecting sane person drinks something given to them by a random stranger- especially in an open cup? Seriously!!

    I have waited weeks to see Red's rabid retribution and it was awesome!
    How can one man be so cherubic and psychopathic at the same time? XD



    Frank Whaley has made a career out of playing socially awkward roles, but this one took it to the next level! Wheeling in mom to the torture room was some extra level creepiness!! XD

    Red's inner circle is shrinking quickly...This Black List thing is wreaking havoc on his social network! XD


    Another fun episode, but I wanted a bit more from this return honestly....

    Grey has been on the series since the pilot and has been in 4 of the 11 episodes so far. If you missed him you were not paying much attention.

    Your so right about Frank Whaley.As soon as he came on screen i said out 'Oh No' outloud! The roles this man has played has for the most part made me feel uneasy. Last night was no different,and it reminded me of his childhood.     Uneasy is the right word!


    Even in his less malevolent roles he still makes me feel uneasy. Just the roles he plays and the way he portrays them put me off. Somewhere between feeling sorry for him and feeling anxious. In this role it leaned more toward creeped out by him though! XD

    Well i have to say finding out Alan Alda is a senator ( or is it congressman?) was quite the surprise! Here i was assuming he was in another type of organization!

    First we get the 'Stewmaker' and now we have the torturer brought to you by the tortured! I was wondering if he had cut out his mothers tongue so she couldn't scream when he wheeled her into the torture room,guess i'll never know. and Yikes! what's next,who's next?!..

    Oh man you never want to cross Red,ever,for payback is a bitch,or bullet! Wow,Red killed w/o batting an eyelash but i never saw him as being cold about it,just something he had to do....don't know if i'll change my mind about that in the future?

    I'd need to watch the every end again,i missed some of it..

    Yes, Grey talked very little, but from what little he said he gave the impression that he was very close to Red, since he seems to know more of Red's grand plan than Luli or Dembe (not that Dembe speaks too much anyway haha!). It's a real shame he won't be on the show anymore. I liked him.

    Yep he was probably my favorite second-tier recurring role!
    I mean he was like a spec ops operator, an undercover agent, and a personal valet all rolled into one!

    he could still be working for a powerful organization in a high level role but also a senator......so he is likely the next bad guy against the team which Fowler tries to protect

    Great return ep as we got to see Red's brutally efficient version of "house cleaning" that was executed with brutal glee.... even the cotw was excellent.... good to have the show back

    When Red tracked that guy in the beginning into the bathroom of the store, Dembe was there in the bathroom. He was also in the room when Red gave Aram his little test.

    When he feels he has been wronged, Red can apparently be completely ruthless and merciless. But on the other hand, he also seems to have a strong sense of loyalty towards his people. Did you catch his last words to Newton? "I'll take care of your family...whatever they need." That lends weight to the idea that he may be caring for Lizzie out of a sense of reponsibility resulting from a similar situation. I.e., the Odds that he's caringf for her becase she is related to him just went down a Little...in my eyes, anyway.

    Huh, good point!
    MY thought was that he was meeting with the government's power players so he himself was one of them. I was thinking that meeting with Fitch and Attorney General Fowler was above board though...


    I guess it could be some clandestine meeting of power players acting outside of the government.since they have made Fowler a grey character that dislikes the Blacklist team, she could be actively working against them.

    I think Red used the bag from inside the urn that contained Luli's ashes to suffocate Grey! Poetic justice for his actions being the cause of her death!

    I kind of really liked the episode, because of the Wendy West influence again, as there were so many things "Dexter" -esque (season 4, season 8) much like the episode "The Stew Maker" and these episodes both tend to be exceptionally dark/controversial and reflective as far as looking as Red as concerned, but I agree that the previous episode was better in a lot of respects.
