  1. I'm going to guess that Sleepy Hollow's Katrina won't assimilate to modern life as easily as Ichabod has. Either way, I'm glad she'll be more involved next season.

  2. New Storylines for Katrina, Hmmm besides an essence that coul've escaped with her, i'm hoping Abbie can teach her about Condoms, and tampons. lol I would love to see her reaction about those.

  3. Maybe she can simply bewitch her vagina.

  4. Katrina can finally be cool and develop now that she's free. I have to admit not caring much about her in season 1. But now with her free and the whole Jeremy thing she should be better in season 2.

  5. I'm so happy Alex is getting more screentime and an actual storyline. I can't wait for Jo to face off with Shane.

  6. I'm dreading the introduction of Katrina into the present day storyline. Last season the writing put her beyond Mary Sue into special snowflake territory -- she's a Quaker, no she's a witch, she's a nurse, she saved Icabod's life but can't tell him why the bible is important, she's a high society lady, she had a baby but never told Icabod, or ever told him Headless was his BFF, she knows George Washington and Jefferson personally -- and in spite of all that, or maybe because of it, all I got from her was bland. I'm more interested in Irving or Jennie than I am in her.

What set this show above other supernatural TV shows and their demon-of-the-week was Icabod's relationship with Abbie and the humor in him adapting to the 21st century. With Katrina now with them, she'll be the one who has to adapt so the humor of Abbie teaching Icabod to adapt will be lost to Ichabod and Katrina. (Sure they could have Abbie or Jennie teaching her but I don't see a season of humor in that.) And with the great and overwhelming love of Icabod's life now there with him, either they do the triangle route or Abbie will be relegated to colleague status and Icabod's real emotional scenes will be with Katrina.

THIS. It's why I got so attached to the show. I loved that dynamic and I fear it might not be like that next season. I have to say whenever there was too much of Ichabod/Katrina and Ichabod talking too much about his wife I got bored - there were some sweet moments I loved though but all in all I just didn't care. I don't care about Katrina becoming a "badass witch" next season because then, what is left for the others to do? I'd rather have her stay with the horseman most of the season.

  8. Absolutely, 100% agree with that.

  9. Agreed. I'll also add that I hope her presence in the present day doesn't go down the all-too-predictable triangle road.

  10. Awesome that we are getting more Katrina next season. She was getting shafted. I hope that she becomes intricate in the mytharc and stays an agent for good.
