Girls - Females Only - 3.01 - Review

As a twenty something year old woman trying to get my life together, I could really relate to this show. I truly think that's why people love Girls.  It relates to their life, and they can see that its not just THEM! But everyone is going through the same crap!! Your twenties is a time to learn and figure out your path in life.

In this episode we really see a different side of the characters, from when we left off last season.  Adam and Hannah are now in a committed relationship.  Charlie broke Marnie's heart and she is now having to restart her life.  Jessa is now in rehab, making a mess of things. Shoshanna made up a new plan, to enjoy the sexual and academic experience. So when she graduates she'll be ready for the professional world.

The tone stayed stable throughout the whole episode, which made it a little dull. The funniest moments where Jessa at rehab, when she was insulting everyone in group therapy. But my favorite part was when the director asked Jessa why was she there? Jessa responded " My grandmother said if I do 60 days she'll get me a plane ticket, rent and these boots, their call UGGS, their Australian." The director didn't know how to respond to that comment.

Epic moment, I laughed really hard!

I think this season will be good. Everyone seems to be growing up from last year and Hannah finally has her book on the way to being published. I feel that this episode clearly sets up the new season.
