TVLine has learned that Nashville and Treme actor Michiel Huisman, who is set appear in multiple Season 4 episodes as Daenerys’ love interest Daario Naharis, has inked a deal to return as a full-fledged series regular in a possible fifth season.

    Still bothers me that he had to be recast, but I think a multi-episode arc will help with the transition.

    I haven't been keeping up with GOT news. Why did they recast the role? I was actually happy with the actor they chose because it would go a long way to make me able to tolerate the annoying character.

    I don't think they ever said that the reason was. I suspect it had something to do with the actor himself but who knows.
