  1. You mean Laurel and Oliver actually interact with each other? Whoa! Who knew that the show's "primary love interest" should do that every once in a while?

Also, I may have a slight crush on Willa Holland. It probably has something to do with her improved character this season. Either way, I wish she had more scenes.

  2. I'm gonna have to get used to how Ollie looks with the mask. Right now he kinda reminds me of Zorro. Lol.

  3. If I didn't read the picture description would have thought that was someone different than Katie Cassidy.

Guess she takes after her dad when it comes to plastic surgery and liking it.

  4. I hope Thea has a significant role in this episode. I want her to get a centric episode too this season.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Wow that Mask hides so much, no one will ever know it's Oliver Queen. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  6. I wish Thea had more scenes with Oliver. Their relationship has been largely ignored since last season and, in spite of how strained it usually is, I enjoyed the slow evolution of their relationship. I wish Arrow hadn't put that subplot in neutral.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Agreed. I also wish the inclusion of her character wasn't so dependent upon Roy these days.

  8. Good grief, what do I have to do to get one Felicity centric episode? Because she doesn't need FOUR to get the job done. Can we at least see that she has, I don't know, a HOME? A family? Something? Don't get me wrong, I love Olicity, but every single character on this show has a story, has a past, has had details of their lives explored, except Felicity! Not Olicity...Felicity. Until then, I really don't care about Laurel's pain, or rebuilding her craptastic character into someone I still won't care about. I don't care about Roy's desire to be Arrow Jr. right this second, I don't care about who Oliver is going to bed next, I just want one stinking episode to give a background to a character that has done wonders for this show. Why has this not happened yet? And even though I love Sara and think she is THE black canary that possesses all the qualities that a lot of fans want to see, why should we even care about her anymore if the show runners are going to do away with her all for the sake of...you guessed it...Laurel. It's like they're screaming "love her dammit"..."do you love her yet?"...."how about now?"..."do you love her yet?"

  9. I was just thinking that too. But then I remembered the ridiculous "Clark Kent" disguise and frustrating it was that people really believed he looked so damn different with a simple pair of glasses. :-( So I guess a hood and a mask is an upgrade.

  10. Ugh Oliver and Laurel? Talk about lack luster. Give the girl something to do other than be a bad love interest. Let her become BC. "Primary love interest" ha! More like suckiest love interest which needs to stay on the back burner forever.

Cassidy rocked in Supernatural. But her and Amell have no chemistry. Don't force it.

I desperately miss her and Tommy. They were great! He truly loved her. I don't know why the few fans Laurel has want her with Oliver, he makes her a fool.

  11. The Clark Kent thing always bothered me too. I guess it's just one of those willing suspension of disbelief things.

  12. We're supposed to get some backstory, personal insight into Felicity in Episode 13 and there are plans to give us more towards the end of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I really hope this is true, because I love this show; but I hate seeing my favorite character serve as nothing more than a catalyst to pull others out of a depressive state. I would LOVE it if they brought on Linda Carter as her mother for an episode! Tell me that would not be an awesome moment for Felicity fans and Comic fans alike?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Not really, that's too much stunt casting for me, just like Smallville did. In fact Smallville cast Linda Carter as Chloe's mom.

I'd rather see Amanda Tapping as Chloe's mom if we ever get to meet her.

  15. If Katie Cassidy cant even be a not so bad love interest, what make you think they would trust her with Black Canary.

You don't get it do you, stop blaming the character and the writing, Katie Cassidy fans. Your actress is to blame, for the lack of chemistry, lack of acting and consequently the lack of storylines.

They got a great Black Canary in Sara/Caity, and I doubt she is going anywhere.

  16. LMAO!!! breathe woman!! I've been mad about that too. But good news, i just read a couple days ago, that they are in fact giving us some Felicity backstory. (I've been DYING to see her home personally above everything else) We're suppose to get it in episode 13 i believe. So it's coming!! = )

    ReplyDelete
  17. LOL! Sorry, I think it's the hiatus. :-D And when i read that we get four Laurel-centric episodes where she shows off these emmy worthy "acting" chops...I think I snapped. As for her back-story, I don't know, I'll believe it when I see it. I love what they've done so far, so I can extend to them the benefit of time.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Look at this!!! She's so badass!!! I seriously don't need to wait 4 seasons for freaking Laurel to become BC. Sara all the way. I think she's perfect. She brings it 100% every time. Her fighting, her acting, her chemistry with Team Arrow. She just fit right the hell in....Anyways enjoy this video.

  19. Well that sucks. She was already Chloe's mom? OK well that won't work. There are already too many people comparing Felicity to Chloe from Smallville.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Exactly. She already has *chemistry* with everyone. And she already has the combat skills of a trained professional. Laurel=self defense classes at the local YMCA. (but her name is Dinah Laurel Lance, she is black canary) <---that is sarcasm, people! Not an actual reason to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. LOL it's definitely the HELLATUS!! I'm right there with ya. I exploded last week about one of my characters. Idr which one it is now but i mad a major geek overload. I had soo many questions and no answers, i think i was unintentionally berating one of my fellow fans, like she wrote the fucking script. LOL then afterwards she was up all night thinking about the questions i asked her. Everyone's going crazy. And it sure as hell doesn't help that when the show returns, we have to deal with Laurel for 4 EPISODES STRAIGHT!! W/e i'm shaking it off. Let's breathe together shall we? Woosahhhhhh!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ugh!!! This is depressing. You think i'd be exciting with this pics, but all i see is boredom boredom boredom, and her name begins with an L. I don't mind seeing Thea,Oliver, and Blood, that's a breath of fresh air. I would've liked to see Diggle in these pictures. And Felicity (Obviously). And Roy, Quentin, Sin, Sara, Slade. Basically everyone else. I think i'll just feel better when the show comes back. Heavy sigh, just two more weeks to go. Oh god.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hmm, idk where my comment went, so i'll say it again. It's definitely the HELLATUS!! Everyone is going through it in one way or another. I had a geek overload last week!! Wooosahhh we're almost there...Screw Laurel, i'll believe that when i see it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Heh, you're so not going to like the episode description for 2.11

    ReplyDelete
  25. That's exactly why i'm staying away from it. LOL I'll just face it when it comes.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm sorry but no, Oliver and Laurel are NOT the primary love interest. They are so vanilla...wait sorry, not that's an insult to vanilla. Since their boring uninteresting drama in season 1, writers wised up and realized this "Ollie" and Laurel have NO chemistry. Please keep it this way. Their relationship deserves the world's smallest violin!

The things that work on the show, Team Arrow, the Island, any and all things Oliver and Slade because that is an awesome frenemy situation. Sara and Felicity the BEST female characters on the show. And Roy Harper!

Please, please, please let O/L die!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I hope she dies not because i don't like her but her fandom are the most obnoxious i think I've ever encountered

    ReplyDelete
  28. Other than the fact their both computer geniuses they are really nothing alike Chloe is a much better character imo

    ReplyDelete
  29. I believe they do have chemistry i feel the Ollie Felicity is the forced relationship on the show

    ReplyDelete
  30. I agree about Caity Lotz as canary she is too awesome but i would love for the writers to go with 2 Canarys i would love to see the 2 sisters fighting side by side in the future

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sigh more boring Laurel bashing grow up everybody

    ReplyDelete
  32. Your life must be so hard

    ReplyDelete
  33. Is sarcasm still the in thing, sigh

    ReplyDelete
  34. Sorry Katie they are, get over it or move on

    ReplyDelete
  35. Sounds like your the only person with brains on this forum, congratulations

    ReplyDelete
  36. Nothing wrong with sarcasm. Usually those who can't stand sarcasm are those who have no sense of humor...Just saying...

    ReplyDelete
  37. Look, I get it. I've been on the side of a fandom that went against the masses before. Shipper battles can be brutal. But here's the thing...your point gets lost when you are as vicious as the people you are claiming the same offenses against. I think we could all use a chill pill...or, I don't know...prozac! I get that some people have gone to the extremes on both sides but I also wonder when it stopped being OK for people to dislike the abilities of actors without being called cyber-bullies. I'm only appalled when someone calls an actor skinny, ugly, or fat, etc; because that is bullying. Plastic surgery comments...well, if an actor decides to look like Little Kim and screw their faces up in such an obvious manner, people are going to notice and comment. It's rude, but hey, it's going to happen. But calling them poor actors, that's just the business. But let's get back to you, fans=real people. Let's just stick to the show, the characters, and the talent, and I think we'll all be OK.

P.S. - I want Laurel dead so bad I'd pay for a billboard ad across from the CW office that runs the entire length of the season just to see it happen. She's that damn bad.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I know, I've been really annoyed by that. But I'm trying to remember that we've been given an abundance of great stuff so far. When Laurel's "emmy-worthy" episodes bore us to tears, the show will hopefully get back to what works.

P.S. - Preordaining scenes as "emmy-worthy" rarely works out well. lol.

    ReplyDelete
  39. No! DON'T let her become BC because we already have a canary and she's AWESOME.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well she should be, because Chloe's had 9-10 seasons to become that awesome. I'm OK with Felicity being this damn awesome after only one season based on a role that was suppose to be one episode. -_- Booyah!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I could see Amanda Tapping as her mom and the Arrow writers do seem to like their Stargate actors so you never know!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Can't take credit for it, saw it on twitter when Andrew K requested casting suggestions for Felicity's mom. I just love the idea, Felicity could totally be Samantha Carter's daughter.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Lol, the only thing I'm slightly looking forward to is Sara revealing she's alive to Laurel, that's pretty much it.i'm hoping when that happens, Laurel can be somewhat interesting. "emmy-worthy" more like Razzie worthy. lol

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wtf is ur issue?? So I don't always look at spoilers, why is that a problem for you??

    ReplyDelete
  45. She was being sarcastic. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  46. I wouldn't have to bash her if they actually wrote her better. I didn't "bash" her the entire season 1, now i am, deal with it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm actually liking Thea more this season than I did the last. Although we unfortunately didn't get to see this "growth" happen onscreen, I'm loving the end result. I especially like her scenes with Oliver. Roy...well, he's growing on me. After Felicity and Diggle, Moira is my fave. Moira Queen is a badass!

    ReplyDelete
  48. - I like how Thea's character has steadily (albeit subtly) evolved since roughly the midway point of season one but sooner or later they're going to have to put that growth to work and give her a more significant role on the show.
    - I think Roy occasionally has a good scene but he's still the least interesting character on the show for me.

    - I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoys Moira. I think she's an interesting and complicated character. I'm also a little surprised she hasn't caught on to Oliver's hooded alter-ego yet.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I was saying the same thing, I can't believe she hasn't caught on to this yet. But I've decided that the undertaking and prison has thrown her off her game a bit for now.

As for Roy, I have a friend that adores him, and I've promised to give him a chance and not refer to him as the annoying piece of shyte that he is. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  50. I think sara will die and laurel will take is place and become black canary later but im agree with most of people stepehn and katie have not chemistry but unfortunally she is the futur oliver's wife and felicity will never be a interest love for him .
