    I think the titles are off to be honest. 6x11 is Under Fire but that seems more appropriate for 6x12. The rumored 6x13 title is Limelight and that seems more appropriate for 6x11. And 6x12's title is Deep Cover which seems more appropriate for 6x13. The rumored title for 6x14 is Dressed to Kill and that's the only that makes sense.

    I agree. Given what we've heard from recent casting calls, I expect that the final order will look something more like what you've described.

    6x11 - Limelight. Castle and Beckett catch a case that invites tabloid scrutiny, forcing them to deal with how Castle's highly public life clashes with Beckett's desire for privacy.
    6x12 - Under Fire. Casting calls went out for an arsonist and an attractive female fire investigator. Seems fairly self-explanatory.
    6x13 - Deep Cover. The episode where Castle's father returns. This also fits with the pattern of Episode 13 being a more serious, 'mythology'-driven episode (In Season 4, this was Episode 12 ("Dial M for Mayor"), but the general pattern holds).

    6x14 - Dressed To Kill - The episode dealing with Beckett's past experience as a model.



    The other possible explanation is that we'll learn in the next few weeks that for whatever reason, the episodes are going to be aired in a different order than they were produced. Maybe they needed to perform additional pick-up shoots, or they need extra time to finish some visual effects. We'll see.

    actually, under fire actually could be appropriate when come at it from a paparazzi point of view. "fire" is slang for taking photos.

    Jenn, I definitely agree that "Under Fire" could work for both the paparazzi episode and the arson episode (or the one with Castle's father for that matter). However, I have a harder time seeing how "Limelight" would fit with an episode focusing on arson or a rogue spy. Ditto for "Deep Cover" with an episode focusing on either arson or the paparazzi. At least there's no ambiguity about "Dressed to Kill" :)



    Again, if the airing order differs from the production order, all bets are off. I'm simply basing my speculation on the leaked production info that I've seen reported on this site and how it matches up with the episode production numbers.

    We'll know for sure once Dark gets confirmation from his ABC contacts.
