The network is putting its youthful stamp on the subject with an untitled project from Memphis Beat creators Liz W. Garcia and Joshua Harto and producer Bill Haber. Described as Alias meets Homeland, the untitled drama centers on a young female FBI agent with the New York City Joint Terrorism Task Force whose undercover assignment at a prestigious New York university becomes the focus of the entire agency when she discovers a vital terrorist cell hiding in plain sight. Garcia and Harto are writing the script and will exec produce with Haber for Warner Bros. TV and Haber’s Ostar Prods.

This sounds like a train-wreck waiting to happen, but who knows, the CW might surprise me (I do love Nikita and Arrow).

ReplyDeletewhy are they ordering so many pilots?how many shows do they plan to launch next season?as i see-only sure cancellation at this point is beauty and the beast.hod will get it's final short season.Tcd may escape the bear this year too and end up as 13 episode renewal.all other shows are doing good more or less,surprisingly reign!! so,what's their plan,i wonder!!

ReplyDeleteAs I said below, this is not a pilot, it was just put in development. Only a handful of shows in the "development stage" and moved forward to the "pilot stage" each year.
ReplyDeleteif we use this season as an example its likely they will pick up 3 new dramas to air in the Fall and maybe 2 for mid season
