    enjoyed the ep. the one thing that I didn't get was why the Order made Vlad into a vampire... I hope that they go into it a bit more as it seems that if you wanted to punish/torture an enemy that you wouldn't turn him into a (albeit limited by day and other vamp vulnerabilities) creature who is strong enough to break chains, and other possible vamp strengths the haven't mentioned yet and can exist long enough to exact his vengeance.... unless this was an experiment gone awry for the Order

    I think the idea was to punish him eternally, but obviously that didn't work out since he escaped :)

    Have been enjoying this show a LOT, but seriously?!?! The ORDER made Vald a vampire. That is the most ridiculous thing they could have done. Honestly, if they'd revealed that in the pilot I would not be watching the show today. If they'd done the ritual and the vampire was an unexpected outcome it would have made more sense. But to do that intentionally, even taking arrogance into account...that is the stupidest thing I've heard.


    Other than that...Great episode. I'm finding that Dracula's attitude toward Mina Murrary is refreshing. I keep expect to see elements of selfishness in it and I can't find any so far. He declares that he won't turn her into a vampire and curse him like he's cursed. He offered her support and encouragement for her test...and when she expressed sadness about her relationship with Harker he took steps to fix it. It seems that what Dracula wants for the reincarnation of his true love is for her to be happy. Refreshing.


    And I still completely love this version of Renfield!

    If it's the same Order of the Dragons who turned him into a vampire then why the current Generations Order of the Dragons hunting him down??

    Since I did not care for the lead actor it was going to take a lot for me to stay with this series and I have now taken it off my Hopper..

    If you enjoy the show have fun with it, will bet it won't get a season 2.
