    If CBS wants it that badly, I think it will at least make it to pilot stage.

    I don't see why it has to be a bad idea. It will be a hangout comedy about a group of friends with a long term like Mother was. Mother is an extremely successful show for CBS, especially when you consider that it is probably their youngest skewing show and likely number 2 in 18-34s for its network. Chances of success are certainly better than something like We Are Men or Partners. I don't see is why they couldn't have come up with it this year. It would have been kind of perfect to have it at 8h30 following Mother's final season as a way to inherit the audience. It will be much tougher to pull it off next season.

    I as a huge fan of the original show am not looking forward to it.
    It will feel like a copy of the original show, and will always be compared to it.

    Not to mention a 20 something girl looking for The One is the story of every other rom-com.

    Depends on how they do it. They can make it so that she is not looking for the one and actually doesn't want it - like Robin for instance. It depends. I am not saying it will hit, but it has a better shot than a lot of stuff they've green lighted before, so why not?

    i thought that we already learned enough about aiden in season 2 i hope this new person from aidens past doesn't take up so much screen the last thing revenge needs is to focus on characters that we don't know

    I agree. I'm not looking forward to more Aiden backstory, but hopefully it will spark some rivalry between Emily and "Niko".
