"I hope so," Britton told Rolling Stone when asked about possibly coming back to the anthology series, which is currently shooting Season 3 in New Orleans. "I've actually have been talking to them this season, because they're down in New Orleans and I'm in Nashville. I said, 'Okay, let's see if we can try to figure this out.'"
American Horror Story: Coven, airing Wednesdays at 10/9c on FX, is about a group of witches at a school that trains other witches. Britton, who was nominated for an Emmy for her role on AHS, says she would be happy to ditch her cowboy hat for a witch hat. "I'm like, 'I'll put that on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans,'" Britton said. "Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I'm in. I hope it happens."

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI WOULD LOVE THIS
but I don't see it happening. :(
Ooh, I hope they can work the scheduling out!
ReplyDeleteThis needs to happen!
ReplyDeleteIf this happens, I think they might as well cancel all other shows and just stick to AHS.
ReplyDeleteIf this happens, she would have both her shows airing against one another. Kind of awkward.
ReplyDeleteTrue which would be a reason for abc to not allow it in some form but I don't think networks compete with cable when on a raings analysis pov. But I really want this to happen. She and Kate Mara are the ones i really want back in some form much like Dylan last season.
ReplyDeleteWell, the "competition" between networks (either broadcasts or networks) the way you talk about it is something that doesn't exist in practice, it is only a PR spin. Sure, it is nice of them to say that they beat all the other networks, but in the end, they get the same amount of money for that 1.8 rating whether that is the top show on television at that time or the lowest rated show on tv at that time. Competition is only a thing in the sense that it reduces the likelihood of a show getting a higher rating and, in that sense, AHS certainly competes with Nashville.
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes yes! Ditch Nashville and come to New Orleans!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope maybe nest season she'll have a big role again
Hmm yeah that is true though. While thinking about the possibility, if this does happen, she'll most likely appear in around the last 4-5 eps which will air around January 2014 and considering ABC's new broadcast schedule, if i'm not mistaken Nashville won't be back till like end of Feb, which means the shows wont actually be competing.
ReplyDeleteThat is true, I didn't think about that.
