I loved the sneak peek. PO'd Kevin. "OK Sam" and one of my fave "Dean flavors" "Take Charge!Dean" "Look for anything ugly" "Hit the Angel Tablet.. to reverse M's spell" "It's gonna be a busy year" Ding! Ding! We have the 'Tag Line' for this season. Awesome :)
I am, too. Not that I love 'All things Angel" but this season "Feels" like Carver has a little better understanding of 'what worked' and 'what didn't' in S8.
Yeah, I have to agree. The angels are a bit played out at this point but having them be fallen is at least more interesting than them randomly showing up to be dicks for no reason like the past couple of seasons have been. Now they have a good reason to be pissed.
Wonder how they'll keep Crowley alive long term with Kev out for blood. Either Kevin dies, he's no use plot wise after he reads the tablets or he saves kevin or Mrs Tran and they become chums.
I just imagine the wingless angels as "stronger demons" and I'm cool, lol. That there are going to be factions on earth is intriguing and *IF* Ezekiel just leaves Sam willingly will also be an interesting storyline. Dean may find 'something' in the MoL Bunker to heal Sam permanently so that Sam won't need an "angelic pacemaker". If Ezekiel manages to make Sam 'better than he was in the premiere' and at the same time as he (Zeke) gets stronger, Sam may not so easily eject Ezekiel once Zeke resides in Sam for a while; in the recent J2 post premier interviews linked on this site, the Zap2it link has them saying that their filming 9.08 "now" and Sam still doesn't know about Ezekiel (so Zeke must still be scrubbing Sam's mind occasionally). Plus there's the very interesting Dean and Abaddon stuff coming up tomorrow - I wonder if they'll be three factions of angels by the Fall Finale - those that still 'trust Castiel's good intentions', those that will follow Malachi, and those that will choose to willingly follow Abaddon.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteYay... I love / hate this show it's ruining /making my life!
ReplyDeleteI liked that scene. I don't want to predict, but I have a feeling this season will be much better than last season. I'll remain cautiously optimistic.
ReplyDelete"We've never died on Tuesdays" - "What could go wrong?" - LOL!
