    I am so excited about this one!!!And DAMN Jared looks so hot with those angel eyes!!!I think perhaps when Abaddon throws Dean through those windows he hurts pretty bad and Sezekiel heals him...

    I think that Crowley and Abby can tell Sam is not just Sam as demons have been able to spot angels before. It would also make sense that one of them would spill the beans (at a later date) to drive a wedge (again) between the two brothers.

    Yeah looks as if... JP was worried that fans wouldn't like his "work". I don't think he has anything to worry about though. JP is very good IMO at playing "alt versions" of Sam.

    I do like how this time around, it'll look like his portrayals as Ezekiel will be in spurts. So we'll still have Sammy, but we'll also have Ezekiel. So I'm interested in this arc. :)

    Whoaa supernatural looks great, did they revamp this show or what. Have been watching on and off for seasons but this seasons looks like its back on track.

    Also good casting with new addition Tahmoh Pennikett and Alaina Huffman, love them.

    Agreed. Someone on another forum pointed out today that this is now the 5th different character that Jared has played on the show, and that doesn't even include Soulless Sam or when he was being impersonated by a shapeshifter or Leviathan. That's pretty impressive if you ask me.



    I think he nailed Tahmoh Penikett's mannerisms perfectly when he was portraying Ezekiel. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do with this role.

    Of course, JP was trashed on the IMDb boards, but what else is new? Those people hate both Sam and Jared. I thought he did a wonderful job though. It was like JP channeled TP. It was great!

    Yes, it was. And they should review the episode again b/c TP was playing Zeke as very detached too. Jared did an excellent job w/it, IMO.

    Oh that board is chock full of Sam/Jared haters. I don't get it at all. Most of them are Destiel shippers and I think that has a lot to do with it. I've literally read posts over there from people who admit that they didn't watch seasons 1-3 and will skip episodes without Castiel in them. Then they go on Twitter and yell at the writers about Dean's lack of a mytharc. Um, didn't they just admit that they skip all the episodes without Cas? That doesn't sound to me at all like they care very much about Dean. They only care about him in the context of Destiel. It's bizarre. I don't care about what people ship but that's just taking things too far IMO.

    I poke in every few days and rarely post but every time I visit there seems like a new JP/Sam bashing thread and most other discussion threads - even if they are not original JP/Sam focused, there's always a few posters making vicious digs at Sam (or even JP). There's a few fierce and very eloquent Sam/BroBond defenders and several generally positive threads but the rest of the board is poison.

    I am too! I was re-watching the premiere for the first time yesterday morning and an odd thought popped into my mind: the last scene in the car where Sam wakes up - was it really Sam speaking "We have work to do" or was it Ezekiel imitating Sam? Bizarre, I know but we've known at least three angels (Zachariah - 4.22 - imitated Dean's voice in the changed voicemail, Castiel - 4.15 - imitated Bobby when talking to Sam about the Reaper case, and Anna - 5.13 - when she imitated young John's boss) who seamlessly imitated humans' voices. I think it depends on whether Ezekiel has a more proactive agenda than just healing them both.

    I actually saw someone complain that Jared was playing Ezekiel too wooden, but I'm pretty sure that was the point. LOL.
