Scene Of The Week - October 20, 2013 - POLL

20 Oct 2013

A weekly feature in which we're trying to find most compelling, best acted, written, directed and just generally great scenes that we've seen recently.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN, "Boy Parts", October 16, 2013, Actor: Lily Rabe and others
The Scene: In the morgue & The first scene with Lily Rabe
DarkUFO:
The scene in the morgue with the Body Parts. Also picked by Kelly Ann
Sharon Seymour: The first scene with Lily Rabe and the Gator Attack

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, "Kidnapped", October 14, 2013, Actors: Kristin Kreuk, Jay Ryan
The Scene: Catherine is tied to a chair again
Virginia Fontana:
Catherine's reaction to being tied to a chair again, after sleeping with Vincent. "After what we just did?!" Cat is hilarious and awesome.

BOARDWALK EMPIRE, "The North Star", October 13, 2013, Actors: Steve Buscemi, Patricia Arquette
The Scene: Sally punches Nucky in the face
Darth Locke:
Sally Wheat gets bored with Nucky's non stop philosophical rant and punches him in the face!

CASTLE, "Number One Fan", October 14, 2013, Actors: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic
The Scene: The kiss in the precinct
Jamie Coudeville:
I loved this, it's like they've come full circle. I'm glad that Kate's back on the team.

GREY'S ANATOMY, "I Bet It Stung", October 17, 2013, Actors: Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Sara Ramirez
The Scenes: Meredith and Cristina's showdown outside the OR & Callie's sister wives remark
Max Conte:
The working parent examination was great, and this has been coming for a long time. They've always supported each other's views but we all knew Cristina's feelings on the matter. It was only a matter of time before this came out. The acting and writing was phenomenal.
Kelly Ann: Callie's sister wives remark.

HAVEN, "Countdown", October 18, 2013, Actors: Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant
The Scene: Audrey tells Nathan she loves him
Justyna Kubica:
This show really amazes me this season. I always knew it was great, but right now, for the third week in a row, it had one of the strongest episodes I've seen all week from all of my shows (which says a lot, if you know me). And I'm still not sure which scene I liked best, I'm quite torn between the moment when Nathan realizes it's Audrey and the part where they finally have a chance to talk alone and Audrey tells him she loves him. Both were emotional and powerful in their own way, but in the end, I decided to go with their last scene in the episode. For a few reasons. First, I really love this couple, so it's great to see at least one of them admitting their feelings for another. I mean, pretty much entire Haven knows how they feel and they never said it to each other, not directly anyway. Also, the return of their dynamics reminded me of so many of their past moments. And I'm glad Audrey made Nathan realize that the fact he couldn't let go of her now means she faces the similar choice and she's the one who's making the decision, not him. I really hope that together they can find another way to end the troubles. They have to. After all, fighting with the impossible is kinda what they do.
Sylvie C: Audrey tells Nathan that the decision was hers because she loves him. That was a beautiful scene. Really emotional and I loved it.

HOSTAGES, "2:45 PM", October 14, 2013, Actors: Dylan McDermott, Toni Collette, Tate Donovan
The Scene: Duncan shoots Brian
Bradley Adams:
Duncan shoots Brian in order to prevent Ellen from escaping. The show finally took a stand with some high stakes stuff. Also picked by Daniel van der Veer

MODERN FAMILY, "The Late Show", October 16, 2013, Actors: Ed O'Neill, Ty Burrell and others
The Scene: The end scene
Klutzy Girl:
The end scene with the family was adorable. Loved Jay singing "Midnight Train To Georgia" and the rest of the family joining him. Plus, Phil's suit ripping was hilarious. Also picked by Mark Ondo

NASHVILLE, "You're No Angel Yourself", October 16, 2013, Actors: Charles Esten, Lennon Stella
The Scene: Deacon and Maddie's phone call
Klutzy Girl:
It was a great scene and I'm glad those two have talked.

NCIS, "Anonymous Was a Woman", October 15, 2013, Actors: Mark Harmon and others
The Scene: The final scene at the airport
Daniel van der Veer:
This was a very moving scene. Gibbs brought in the women from Afghanistan and the reunion between mother and daughter was just beautiful. Gibbs also atoned for not getting the other six women in the USA even though Mike Franks requested that.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES, "Reznikov, N.", October 15, 2013, Actors: Chris O'Donnell, Vyto Ruginis
The Scenes: Callen goes to Arkady's house & Callen watches his old family film
Bradley Adams:
That was a hilarious scene. I especially loved when Arkady took the gun out of his fridge and found it... uncomfortable to transport it.
Sylvie C: Callen alone at the end and watching his old family film. Chris did an amazing job at this take. I felt all emotional and he did this without saying a word.

ONCE UPON A TIME, "Quite a Common Fairy", October 13, 2013, Actors: Jamie Chung, Sarah Bolger
The Scene: Mulan almost confesses her feelings for Aurora
Klutzy Girl:
Mulan almost confesses her feelings for Aurora, but Aurora's confession stops her in her tracks. I shipped these two last season, but I honestly never expected the show to go there. I'm so happy they did. And even with Aurora's pregnancy, I believe this is the beginning of their story, not the end.

PERSON OF INTEREST, "Reasonable Doubt", October 15, 2013, Actors: Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Kevin Chapman, Sarah Shahi and others
The Scenes: Reese and Finch save the vet & Shaw and Fusco go to the bank & Reese leaves his gun for the couple to shoot each other
Bradley Adams:
Reese and Finch save the vet. Finch's request for an expensive chew toy for Bear to repay them was brilliant. Also picked by Sharon Seymour
DarkUFO: Shaw and Fusco go to the bank.
A Dahne: Reese leaves his gun for the husband and wife to shoot each other. While this might not be my favorite scene, it was the most shocking scene I watched this week. We've seen Reese save some despicable people before, but he hasn't been this cold since the first episodes. It gives the show a much darker tone than last year.

REVENGE, "Confession", October 13, 2013, Actors: Emily VanCamp, Henry Czerny, Barry Sloane, James LeGros
The Scenes: Aiden is revealed to be scheming with Emily & Emily finds Father Whitley presumably dead and Conrad alive
Virginia Fontana:
Aiden is revealed to be scheming with Emily. I knew it, but it was great to see this confirmed.
Pablozky21: A very strong episode ends with a very Revenge-y twist and it couldn't have played out better. It's enough to see Emily's face when she sees the car on fire and Conrad walking out of it alive; it creates a tense enviroment and I was left both shocked and pleased, as this is the kind of thing I love to see on the show.

REVOLUTION, "Patriot Games", October 16, 2013, Actors: Billy Burke, Zack Orth, Elizabeth Mitchell
The Scenes: Rachel finds Miles after waking up & Aaron catches two men on fire in his sleep
Jamie Coudeville:
I love these two so much. I'm still mad they didn't show the kiss from the promo but this scene was cute.
Darth Locke: Aaron asleep in bed is able to see where Miles went through the 'firenites' and is able to catch some Patriot enemies on fire!

SCANDAL, "Mrs. Smith Goes to Washington", October 17, 2013, Actors: Bellamy Young, Tony Goldwyn
The Scene: Mellie celebrates that Olivia still walks this earth
Mark Ondo:
Bellamy Young was simply amazing during this scene. Fitz already used Olivia to turn the tides in his favor and after his war declaration to Mellie, she makes it very clear that she has every intention of doing the same if she needs to. Her southern accent, the way she stumbled out the door, turning the lights off & leaving Fitz alone in the dark to think about how he underestimated her once again.. It was just fantastic.

SONS OF ANARCHY, "Salvage", October 15, 2013, Actor: Walton Goggins
The Scene: The Return of Walton Goggins as Venus Van Damme
Max Conte:
Much needed levity after an extremely dark streak of episodes. Gemma's "Is it one of Nero's girls?" was a great foreboder.

SUPERNATURAL, "Devil May Care", October 15, 2013, Actors: Jensen Ackles, Osric Chau
The Scene: Dean tells Kevin he's family
Justyna Kubica:
You know, I was trying to remember when exactly I got so attached to Kevin and I honestly can't. He's quite a fascinating character in a way that he's very interesting, has his own story and purpose, he's definitely someone you want to root for and also, it appears that he can sneak up on you and make you simply like the guy. So, I think I never realized how important Kevin has become over the years (it's been years already?) right till this scene where Dean tells him he's part of the family. And what a great thing to hear, especially for someone so lost, lonely and damaged like Kevin. He thinks he's completely alone in this world, without his mom by his side and here he finds out he's truly one of the team, a family member. It's a very beautiful speech from Dean, as always perfectly acted by the amazing Jensen Ackles. A very emotional, but also warm, positive moment on a show so dark and painful at times. Easily one of my favorites this week.
Sylvie C: Dean tells Kevin he's a part of his family and he would die for him. Jensen is amazing in those emotional scenes and he nailed it again.

THE BLACKLIST, "The Stewmaker (No. 161)", October 14, 2013, Actors: James Spader, Megan Boone, Tom Noonan
The Scene: Reddington saves Liz and kills 'The Stewmaker" (picked by Darth Locke)

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, "Original Sin", October 17, 2013, Actors: Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Janina Gavankar
The Scene: Damon tells Elena she's his life & Tessa tells Stefan her backstory
Virginia Fontana:
Damon's speech to Elena that culminates in "because you are my life." Swoon!
Justyna Kubica: I could not pick my third favorite scene, but in the end I decided to go with this one. If only because it's just such a beautiful thing to say, to anyone. What a lovely speech! In his usual Damon-y way, he hides his feelings behind the sarcasm and a very specific tone, but he ends up saying something truly beautiful. And I have to say, I hate triangles with great passion (especially the ones that last so long) and I don't like the fact that it appears we're coming back to square one on this matter. I had high hopes for Stefan and now, I'm getting really tired of this story. BUT... this was just such a nice, romantic moment, that even I wanted to appreciate it.
Kelly Ann: Tessa tells Stefan her backstory.
Jamie Coudeville: I was disappointed with this week's episode, but this scene made it so much better. I'll love these two (especially Damon) until the day I die.

THE WALKING DEAD, "30 Days Without an Accident", October 13, 2013
The Scene: The shopping mall with "raining zombies" (Picked by DarkUFO and Sharon Seymour)

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, "The Big RV Adventure", October 17, 2013, Actors: Mary McCormack, Justina Machado
The Scene: Lisette distracts the cop to keep him from taking Caroline to jail
A Dahne:
Caroline gets the RV stuck in the drive-through while Lisette distracts the cop, sexy grandma style, to keep him from taking Caroline to jail. This show is one of the two funniest new sitcoms of the season and I am sad to see it go. I didn't laugh near as hard in any other show this week as I did in this scene. Part of why I liked it so much is that the scene also had heart. I love how Dan stood up for Caroline's need for a burger in the end and Chuey made his wife feel attractive again. Such a combination of laughs and heart is rare these days since most comedies strive for the lowest common denominator instead. Once again I wish I was a Nielsen family.

WHITE COLLAR, "At What Price", October 17, 2013, Actors: Matt Bomer, Mark Sheppard
The Scene: Curtis Hagan shows Neal the pictures he has of Neal breaking into the vault
A Dahne:
Mark Sheppard returning on White Collar has long been on my TV Wish List and this episode did not disappoint. I love how Hagan gets Neal right where he wants him and I look forward to seeing how Neal turns the table on him in the future. Here's hoping for lots of Hagan-Caffrey banter this season.

  1. Honorable mentions:

Haven - Nathan realizes Audrey is Audrey and Audrey tells Nathan she loves him.

Grey's Anatomy: Meredith kisses Callie, leading to the sister wives comment.

Scandal: Bellamy was amazing in that drunk Mellie scene and she (and Kerry) need to win an Emmy.

Supernatural: Dean tells Kevin he's family, Dean comforts Sam after what Tracey said, and Sam's reaction after what Tracey said (poor Sam).

    ReplyDelete
  2. Other: The Walking Dead, Patrick's death and turning. Patrick, feeling feverish, stumbles to the shower, dripping sweat and coughing into the water source, then falls to the floor, dead. He turns into a bleeding zombie.

  3. Caskett kiss and SPN family speech :)

    ReplyDelete
  4. Audrey tells Nathan she loves him .I almost died .I can't stop watching that scene so good and so was Nathan finding out she was Audrey .

    ReplyDelete
  5. I went with Haven's, not only for the part when she said she loved him, but also when she said that because of what he did, now she's the one who has to let him go, that she can't do that and that ultimately, it's her decision alone. Powerful stuff.

Then, Person of Interest, the scene in the vet, because, well, Bear pretended to be sick and then saved the day, awesome.
And the other scene from POI, when Reese left the gun and walk away, I was really shocked, like someone pointed out, this was more S1 Reese, early episodes, he's come a long way since then. Whether the couple deserved it or not, I wonder why he did it.

  6. Weeks after weeks it's almost impossible only pick 3 scenes.

Scandal of course : The drunk Melie was just amazing !

Beauty and the Beast also great !

And obviously the Vampires Diaries. Damon's speech was just so sweet !

But honorable mention for Grey's Anatomy : Meredith kisses Callie before going to work and Callie's scene at the end and Hart of Dixie : Love the fake Lemonade relationship.

  13. About the Blacklist (I'm caught up, YAY!) This episode is a bit Dexterish, that I was so surprised that Wendy West doesn't have the writing credit on the episode!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Some of my honorable mentions include:

Agents of Shield - Failed bromance try - Seriously, the funniest thing I've seen this week!

Elementary - The last talk between Abigail and Sherlock. Brilliant acting!

Haven - like I mentioned above, my other favorite is: Nathan figures out it's Audrey (I'm glad they didn't hide it too long, cause it wouldn't make sense if he couldn't recognise his love)

OUAT - Mulan and Aurora scene - well, I can't say I'm rooting for them, cause I can't imagine being a fan of a story where a couple who are already established as each other's true love being seperated (as in one of them dies or sth) just for a sake of another pairing. Besides, I like Philip! But still, it was a very emotional and incredibly beautiful scene.

Person Of Interest - The scene in the bank - it was hilarious!

The Blacklist - Reddington saves Liz and kills 'The Stewmaker" - So scary, so powerful!

    And more.

BATB - i was laughing so hard when she fell down , trying to get to the computer !!! lol hahahaha ;)

    ReplyDelete
  16. BATB offers everything.
Provides entertainment and excitement, offers action and passion, love and friendship, concern and doubt, also offers something of darkness and uncertainty. Also wit, smile and grace. It has a great strength.
It has a great team that does a great job .
It has light, a lovely light playing as a character. It has some great actors playing their role well: great Jay Ryan, who knows how to put a question in his eyes intense and a bit tragic, Kristen Kreuk, who brings a brittle hardness impressive, Austin Basis , owner of a magnificent gesture , Nina Lisandrello , which is pure power , etc ...
Has quick dialogue , sparkling , witty , witty , ... fun up in the tragedy.
    Very good .

It was the whole show from Beauty and the Beast, ep 2. Kidnapped rocked and it only will get better and better.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The Originals - Bekah and Klaus entry to the masquerade ball to the song Mercy by Hurts. it was epic.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Beauty and the Beast - Catherine is tied to a chair again

    ReplyDelete
  20. SO tough to pick three scenes only.

SCANDAL - Mellie telling Fitz that Saint Olivia Pope dying would be her biggest nightmare. Bellamy Young is one of my favorites on the show! Also the scene where Olivia moves the bomber when the sniper is pointing right at her and takes her place so that Fitz can see her. Loved it.

TVD - What a great episode. Damon is perfect, his speech at the end was perfect and the little sweet moment Delena had in 'Joe's bar' before she leaves to go after Katherina and Nadia was amazing. Obviously Tessa/Quetsiyah's backstory was great. Also, Matt having a good storyline, finally.

MODERN FAMILY - Easily one of my favorite episodes, especially the last scene. Also, Mitch and Cam asking Alex & Lily 'who wore it best' by posing.

WHITE COLLAR - I loved the scene with Mozzie pretending to commit suicide. Peter realizing Neal is upto something and changing his anklet too.

Loved Castle, OUAT, Revenge, Big Bang Theory, SHIELD and Blacklist too.
While Grey's is one of my favorites, this season hasn't really been so great for me, except for Cristina & Meredith's showdown in the last episode.

BATB - I was laughing so hard when Catherine fell down trying to get to the computer...and when she said to Vincent she might have to use the bathroom and he turned around ( Catherine was like '' thank you '' ) but he only did it to close his laptop ...hahahahaha lol

  25. Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I watch other shows on this list, but Beauty and the Beast will have all my votes and it has my heart!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Catherine, tied to the chair again Mellie's standoff with Fitz and Castle and Beckett in the station, actually every scene in BATB;)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Jamie Chung and Sarah Bolgler from OUaT deserves an Emmy.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Beauty And the Beast of course there is some cheeky humour hidden in this season so far but Catherine's face in the after sex tie up and before when Vincent pulled the chair to him was so funny.Another reason to give #BatB a try this season everything is just awesome

    ReplyDelete
  29. I did love the Supernatural scene, I love Kevin! And The Walking Dead supermarket scene was bad ass, loved the premiere. And YES! The Once Upon A Time scene was very shocking, I wasn't expecting the writer's to do that, fair play to them! But I also LOVED the Regina/Tinkerbell scene when they're in the cave. Lana's acting was A+ when she made Regina smile about loving Henry :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Beauty & the Beast is the show to watch. The actors and storyline are on the money

    ReplyDelete
  31. BATB!!!!
When Vincent pulls the chair over to give her wrists accupressure, OMG...
Yup, had to rewind that one a few times.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Beauty and the Beast all the way. Such an intensiv episode. Emotional rollercoaster. Awesome

    ReplyDelete
  33. Many moments are nice, but just my voice belongs: Castle - The kiss in the precinct
Because, for me it was cutest moment. Everybody must have wished that one day, something like this happened. ♥

    ReplyDelete
  34. Broke my heart too. I also loved the scene with Mozzie and the cop on the rooftop. So funny.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Person of Interest: The saving the vet scene

Nashville: The phone call conversation between Deacon and Maddie

The Mentalist: Van Pelt tells the bride about her dress/Rigsby listening, the proposal, and the marriage scene.

    Revolution: Both scenes mentioned

The Walking Dead: The zombie ceiling drop and Patrick's death and turning.

Beauty and the Beast: Catherine being tied up, again. XD

Supernatural: Dean tells Kevin he's family.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Beauty & the Beast always! Season 2 is gonna be awesome! I've never been so hooked on a TV show before. The cast, crew and writers are great! What I especially liked about this scene is that Catherine asked "what if I have to pee". It's not often in movies or TV shows when people are tied up that they're pointing this out or asking that question. And it really is a problem in that kind of a situation. I just wanna say to everyone who isn't watching BatB yet, go for it. It's an amazing show!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Haven is amazing this season. The whole Audrey/Lexie plot is really interesting and I can't wait for more

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm glad your caught up,now we can watch together! We have been out of sync if you will,lol....When the camera pulls back and we see the whole room covered in plastic that definitely reminded me of Dexter...It will take awhile for me to forget that episode!

    ReplyDelete
  39. "We have been out of sync if you will, lol"

Backstreet's Back, Alright! (<----intentional "wrong boy band" bad joke)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Surely the scene of the week was the "Turkey & Avocado" sandwich in BATB?? But on a serious note the WHOLE chair scene was amazing. The way he heard her heartbeat and could tell she was seasick and then when he dragged the chair over.....OMG! Talk about chemistry and hotness overload...the simplest things are often the most effective!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Beauty and the Beast is an amazing show with such talented actors and writers. The entire episode was full funny, witty, sweet, dramatic scenes. The chair scene with Vincent pulling Catherine's chair to him..the look on her face..priceless and when she tipped her chair over..perfect. Anyone not watching this show I have to simply ask "Why" you are missing the best show on TV!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. This week I had fewer notable scenes than usual. Either it was because I was so busy or the shows I watch had off days. Honorable mentions:

Sleepy Hollow - Abbie and Ichabod banter about sarcasm
SHIELD - Fitz and Simmons do emergency eye surgery

Goldbergs - Beverly realizes her dad doesn't want a serious date because he's still in love with her mom
MJF Show - Eve Frescas the tape machine
Elementary - Sherlock talks about his time in boarding school
Elementary - Anne confesses to a crime she didn't commit to save an abused kid...and they ended like that! No last minute rescue.
Wonderland - The Red Queen turns tables on Jaffar
White Collar - Mozzie learns how to loop the signal from Neal's anklet

    ReplyDelete
  43. I wonder whether PoI is going to get increasingly dark this season. They've already had a lot of losses when in previous seasons they usually protected whoever the machine spit out.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I am iffy about this development. Although I see Peter's reasoning, I almost always prefer when Peter and Neal are on the same side.

    ReplyDelete
  45. That was awesome. Mozzie having to say conspiracy theories were for loons made me chortle. It is also an honorable mention for me. I also loved Mozzie being able to loop the feed from Neal's anklet. I wish they had let that play out a little more.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That was my favorite part of Wonderland too. In fact, I think that jsut like OUaT, the villains are going to be more interesting than the rest of the cast. Well Jafar at least.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I was shocked that they left Abigail going to prison. I was sure that Sherlock was going to find a way to prove her innocent until the very end.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yeah, that was so unexpected! I hope she'll be back for an episode. I really enjoyed her scenes with Sherlock.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I hope they are prison pen pals for awhile, although he seems to be racking those up. I would like to see Abigail and Moriarty back.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yay, Mozzie. Doing the impossible! :)
But I actually liked the moment on the roof more. It was just so funny to see how he had to fight with himself about the conspiracy theories! And then, he just stopped the act the second Neal was done, like okay, whatever. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Awesome! Damon's EPIC Speech is #1 this week on TV

    ReplyDelete
  52. It doesn't hurt that he is played by Naveen Andrews. He always does a fantastic job.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Agreed. Sayid was the only character I still liked when I finally dropped LOST.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I realise now just how good this week's episodes were - between:

    - The Good Wife (the Will/Diane/Alicia 'Are we having fun?' scene at the end; the Alicia/Grace 'I wanna be pretty' scene, David Lee fanboying around Peter; the Eli/Merilyn 'You can't keep disagreeing with me and pretend it's an agreement - I agree' scene, just to mention a few favs),

    - The Mentalist (Rigsby finally proposing to Van Pelt),

    - Revenge (the Victoria/Aiden/Emily/Daniel heated argument scene at Nolan's party),
    - Arrow (Felicity telling Oliver off),
    - Once Upon A Time (Regina/Tinkerbell heart-ripping /literally/ scene in the cave),
    - Revolution (the Rachel/Miles scenes, the Rachel oversharing-getting-in-trouble-then-kicking-ass scenes, the Tom Neville going-up-the-hierarchy-ladder scenes)

And I'm a little behind on Sleepy Hollow and Haven, but they're probably good, too.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Scandal, for me it was when Fitz was telling Liv that the son was CIA and a hero, BUT she could not tell the mom. That was heartbreaking and I was in tears.

Supernatural I had two, Sam with Zeke's wings..awesome and the Crowley Kevin talk.

POI gave me 2 also..Bear redeemed his self and attacked and loved Reese leaving the gun.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Supernatural - Dean's talks to everyone. Kevin learns he's family and Sam learns he's done more good than bad. I have to add one more. Dean's reaction to the attack on him by Abbadon. I loved the looks on his face as he faces her down

    ReplyDelete
  57. SUPERNATURAL; Another emotional scene by the amazing Jensen Ackles, who should have been nominated for several Emmys by now and won 2 or 3. Jared Padalecki when "Zeke" comes out as Sam is being beaten-awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I look forward to seeing them try to out-manipulate each other and more of their verbal sparring. Those 2 on screen together have the best scenes.

  59. I'm voting for Audrey telling Nathan that she loves him. Honestly, Haven is ON FIRE in this season. The writing and acting is incredible. And as a huge Naudrey fan, it was amazing to hear Audrey finally tell Nathan that she loves him. I love watching Lucas and Emily in scenes together. They're phenomenal actors with superb chemistry together.

  61. sigh I can't pick everyone I want. :-) All of the POI noms, The reveal that Aiden on Revenge, was still on Emily's side ( more for the sense of triumph in finding that I was right) Loved loved loved the scene with Mellie on Scandal. Really liked the family speech on Supernatural, but, I have a difficult time believing it. Not because I believe Dean did not mean it, but because I don't trust the writers not to go back on it.

  63. I really love ships, but sometimes I wish people could see past that and vote for scenes according to the acting and the excellence of a scene instead of which couple they like the most.

  64. ha, I am also having a hard time trusting the SPN writers this year...keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.

  65. Thanks for including BATB. It was a great episode, and I too loved her reaction. Cuz really, what woman wants to be tied to a chair after "what we just did" lol ;)

  68. I agree. I was a little worried about the memory thing, but this season is shaping up to amazing. And I'm loving the direction and the path the show is on right now. It's going to be really exciting and rewarding. Can't wait for more! :)

  69. I also loved the scene on Supernatural in the same episode where Sam's life is threatened. Ezekiel takes over and mops the floor with all of them. We see the shadow of his damaged wings.
