All of the above, it has been a long time since I loved everything about an ep, this was well written, perfect acting and everyone came with their A game. Was like an old time SPN ep, had a few chuckles, some tears and for me PERFECTION. A long time between seasons and worth the wait.
As much as I enjoyed the scenes in Sam's head, and all the serious scenes, my favourite moment by far was Cas in the laundromat. I could talk about how it was a symbolic shedding of his old self, or whatever, but I just really, really appreciated the visuals. And Cas drinking that water was... really hot. Like, wow.
Dean fighting ,also the twist when dean agree's to possesing sam thought that was really intreasting becasuse of the speech he gave to bobby in s4 that he'd rather him die human..But i guess Dean just loves sam to much ..Sam will understandably be pissed..Also loved "There ain't no me, if there ain't no you"
I had to go with Sam's fireside chat with Death on this one. The fact that Death himself showed such reverence for Sam was simply beautiful. I'm beyond pissed that Ezekiel erased Sam's memory of that conversation, although I can kind of understand why he did it.
Dean prays, Bobby, Death (that was a powerful scene), Ezekiel gives Dean an option and the Dean/Ezekial talks to Sam. This episode had alot of great scenes.
My favorite scene was Dean and Castiel's phone conversation. I loved the concern Dean showed for Cas even though he knew he was human and couldn't be of help.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Sam/Ezekiel talking with Dean towards the end - great display of Jared's acting abilities

ReplyDeleteI see my down-voter is back. Interesting how every comment has one downvote....
ReplyDeleteMy god I completely agree with everything you've said in your comment, thank you for putting how I feel into words! :)

ReplyDeleteI think mine was Dean/Castiel talk. It was like "ok, whatever you did, just take care of yourself".
ReplyDeleteother: Dean fighting the angels
