  1. Just the twist the show needed! I did not see that one coming! Can't wait to see what comes next!

  2. 5. Carrie tells Saul the plan worked! I didn't see it coming and it made the repetitiousness of Carry going through something like this again SO worth it!

  3. Brody's wife was working for Abu Nazir all this time!

  4. " I don't get it; how come no one voted for any of the Dana-Leo scenes?!?!?!"

    -- Said no one ever

  5. LMAO! I, for one, think Dana's storyline is getting more and more boring...

  6. I don't hate this story line with Dana anywhere near her story line from last season. I'm actually enjoying the parallels/juxtapositions presented with her situation, with her fathers (and the irony of the Leo reveal here), and Carrie's of being locked away and trying to escape!

I really liked Sam Underwood in Dexter this past and final season and so I'm delighted again to see him again here playing again a potential sociopath!

I def don't hate the Brody family story lines the way some people do, but that's not to say that I wish Mike and Jessica would get some better material.

  7. That has finally added some spice to this season. I saw that she would do a double agent thing, but didn't see the Saul plot! This season has had such a slow start, and I'm sorry but I just don't buy the showrunner's explanations. The writing has just not been compelling for Dana and Leo's secondary arc. Glad to see it picking up.

  8. I haven't payed too much attention to their explanations...I kind of passively watch Homeland, but I agree this episode definitely gave Homeland back it's edge! :D

  9. It has to be the last scene.

  10. Thank you! I find it extremely compelling, different from anything I've seen on any universe (TV, Movies, Books) and very sad, above anything else. I can't even imagine how I would feel if something like that happens to me and it's something that I had never thought about, like, you hear a terrorist attack happens and you never think "oh poor children of the terrorist guys", but the reality is much more complex and I like to see it portrayed here. It doesn't have the "action" component of the show embedded, but I like it. People are too harsh on it IMO.

  11. I saw it coming earlier because I didn't believe that a show as good as Homeland used to be would assassinate the writing for their characters like that. So when Carrie went through with it, I knew it had to be a long con.

  12. Lol, that would be a twist!

  13. People ARE way too harsh on it! I def think, despite some of Dana's choices, she's actually realistic in the way she tries to deal with/or doesn't try to deal with reality. I def think the Brody family just adds a nice human element and a kkind of 'outside world' point of view of the series/subject matter which then helps to layer it's over all story. :)

  14. Agreed! At least I am not totally alone in this. I don't think the point is to evaluate Dana's choices per se, but the fact that she was put in a situation in which she has to make said choices

  15. Carrie and Saul are working together!!! DID NOT see that one coming. Loved it!
And I also liked how Virgil signaled Carrie that the CIA is listening.
