  1. I went with 'Good', too many fart jokes and basically more filler. I want an overall arc/direction for the series, a reason to like the main three and support them in their adventures. If it wasn't for Sarah Parish and Sumpter I'm afraid I would have scored it lower, both were fantastic in this imo.

  2. I also voted for Good. It was no more than that to me. Of course it always makes us smile when 3 grown up blokes look after a baby and there were the expected 'cute' and 'funny' moments that usual come with that situation. But what purpose did that the episode serve?
It did warm my heart somewhat to learn that Hercules is a cuddly teddy bear and a man good enough for any decent woman. And that he actually can break a door open. It seems he does have a past where he was strong and fit.
Then, there was another moment of Jason's amazing jumping skills and surely that must mean something. Apart from that Jason smiled a lot in this one, showed his bare chest yet again, and was quite adept at holding a baby, Okay.
Pythagoras, IMO, I still do not know. We know he is kind hearted and knows how to put some shards of pottery together. Right.
All in all, nice, but not exactly telling us anything really worthwhile about the trio. I agree with Sandi that this is a typical filler episode. What bothers me about this is that I do not even know what it is filling. We have had no real signs of a story developing.
Here is hoping ep 5 will amend these unfulfilled hopes.

  3. Sumpter has a lot of gravitas and I love his voice. Really enjoyed his performance.

  4. The whole thing was just idiotic...I mean, I guess it can be excused that Jason didn't know the name of Oedipus father or didn't make the connection immediately when he saw the foot...but he should have known at the latest when the prophecy was mentioned and he meet Jokasta. And when he know...what about warning the king that he should tell Oedipus of his true heritage? Or Jokasta what happened to him? Anything to try to avoid Oedipus fate?
