  1. TVBTN has Supernatural adjusted up to a 1.1. Is this right?

  2. No, it's 1.0.

TVBTN often makes mistakes when copying the Nielsen numbers.

here are the Numbers from Nielsen.

    CW HH/Share: 1.5/2.3; Viewers: 2.281 million; A18-49/Share: 1.0/2.8; A25-54/Share: 1.0/2.5; A18-34: 0.8/3; W18-34: 0.9/2
    8:00 The Originals HH: 1.5/2; Viewers: 2.227 million; A18-49: 0.9/3; A25-54: 1.0/3; A18-34: 0.7/2; W18-34: 0.9/3
    9:00 Supernatural HH: 1.5/2; Viewers: 2.335 million; A18-49: 1.0/3; A25-54: 1.1/2; A18-34: 0.8/3; W18-34: 0.9/2

  3. Thanks! I thought I'd check with you. I may occasionally cheat on SpoilerTV with TVBTN, but I only ever comment here ;)

  4. Ha lol, that's fine ;) I know a lot of people still use TVBTN ;)

    ReplyDelete
  5. Nice to see POI getting 13 million plus viewers now :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. K fine I admit it, I made my first comment there just to let people know that they have it wrong. I swear I'll never comment them again!

    ReplyDelete
  7. that is a series high in total viewers for Originals, even if it dropped in demo...new records weekly

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ha that's fine ;) But you'll need to take a shower ;)

  9. One of the staff at TVBTN have stated that their source the spreadsheet from ABC have it listed as a 1.1

    ReplyDelete
  10. According to one of the admins over on TVBTN there source the ABC spreadsheets have it definitely listed as a 1.1.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Their source could've been wrong too. They don't get all 18-34 data other sources post, so I believe the other sources more.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Why would an ABC spreadsheet report on CW shows?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm only reporting what their response was... Here is the exact comment posted by Bill Gorman

TVBTN User“According to the finales posted in Marc Berman’s forum, Supernatural finished with 1.0 and did not get adjusted up. Who is right?”

Bill: People make mistakes. But Amanda did not.

The spreadsheet from ABC, which is our regular source, had Supernatural at a 1.1 18-49 rating.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Ah ok, that's cool.

I've no idea who "Amanda" is and why ABC would collate the info.

You can see the raw Nielsen Data here http://www.tvmediainsights.com/forum/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=4422.4#postid-57266
We always go with the official Nielsen data :)

  15. whats considered good for abc family?

  16. likes look trophy wife isnt gonna make it, which is very unfortunate

    ReplyDelete
  17. Other websites such as Futon Critic and TVLine say 1.1. The final was a 1.06 18-49 which is rounded up to 1.1. I think the person who posted it on Berman's site missed that.

    ReplyDelete
  18. It's weird how that works, demo dropping yet viewers increasing. More older/younger people apparently watched this week while some of the people in the age range didn't watch.

  19. Marc's site is wrong, they've changed it now:

    CW HH/Share: 1.5/2.3; Viewers: 2.281 million; A18-49/Share: 1.0/2.8; A25-54/Share: 1.0/2.5; A18-34: 0.8/3; W18-34: 0.9/2
    8:00 The Originals HH: 1.5/2; Viewers: 2.227 million; A18-49: 0.9/3; A25-54: 1.0/3; A18-34: 0.7/2; W18-34: 0.9/3
    9:00 Supernatural HH: 1.5/2; Viewers: 2.335 million; A18-49: 1.1/3; A25-54: 1.1/2; A18-34: 0.8/3; W18-34: 0.9/2

  20. Good for AoS adjusting up.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I just wished it went up a bit for a change.

    ReplyDelete
  22. That is likely due to the pretty little liars crossover audience effect that should attract more young people.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm not too sure but Ravenswood did better than two other recent ABC family shows.

Twisted pilot got a 0.5 demo and 1.61m viewers.
The Fosters pilot got a 0.6 and 1.42m viewers

Both shows have been picked up for further episodes and the Fosters for a second season.

  24. Thanks, yep it was a 1.06.

I've updated the table and our ratings database

  25. Well done pretty little liars and ravenswood.

I think that ravenswood should get a full season
