ReplyDeleteSeason 2, definitely. followed by season 4, (especially that finale, which should have been the series finale), season 1. Season 3 was my least favorite particularly because of shaw.

ReplyDeleteSeason 3 my favorite season and have my favorite villain Shaw.
ReplyDeletedefinitely season, 2 Chuck at its best. Season 3the worst.the Shaw storyline was completely unnecessary and irritating.
ReplyDeleteSeason 2. With most shows, season 2 is my favorite. By season 2, everyone is comfortable with each other, the writers have started to work out the kinks and where they are headed, and they didn't have drama to out do the previous seasons. With Chuck, it has some of my favorite episodes like Chuck vs. the Sensei, the Ring and the Seduction. It also introduces Jeffster. I also liked the later seasons (4 and 5), where you get to know the supporting cast more.
ReplyDeleteIt was 2 > 1 > 5 > 4 > 3 for me. I loved the show most when Chuck was balancing between being a spy and a regular guy. When Morgan took over that role instead, and Chuck just became a full spy, I found the show a bit less fun. Season 4 was a little slow to me, but very consistent, while Season 3 had higher highs, but much lower lows.

ReplyDeleteI'd say season 2, season 1, season 3, tie season 4- season 5. The budget cuts were felt, the ring was unneeded and last season just plain ridiculous... still I religiously watched to the bitter end
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 was the best and the season finale was awesome. It had everything, from Jeffster performing at the wedding to Chuck knowing Kung Fu.
ReplyDeleteThe writers should take note at how low season 5 is in polls like this. A show that served its fans for almost 5 years let the vast majority down with ambiguous ending and an empty feeling. After 5 years of warm moments and things do work out in the end story telling, they felt for some reason they had to leave doubt in the future as an option. Terrible, terrible mistake...or at least a terrible disservice to their fans. I don't know if I can link a youtube video so I won't try but I will tell you to search for Chuck - The End - Extended Version by mustermann1988 for an ending change that I think would see Season 5 be the favorite for more than a paltry 2% of the fans.
ReplyDeleteSeason 4 and season 2 are very close in my book, followed by 5, 1 and 3. Unlike some, I don't feel 3 is a bad season, just not quite as good as the others, and the finale was probably the best ever on TV.
