I dont like it. but we know about Norrie not being a regular in the serie .. So I think its the end for her in that episode... Hope not.. But... :( sadly ..
I truly, truly, truly hope not. I want her and Joe to end up happily ever after. And besides, we obviously know she is one of the 4 connected to the Dome (or at least the Mini-Dome), how could they kill her off? Either way, I pray to God that she is still alive by the end of the season.
I always did wonder why Aisha Hinds, who hasn't even appeared in the last 4 episode, is a regular and McKenzie Lintz, who has been in almost all the episodes so far, isn't. Maybe she was meant to die from the beginning.
I think the cast status is determined before each season and sometimes TPTB decide to do something else and the initial status doesn't really go along with their actual capacity on the show anymore and I think their status can't be changed during the season.
Some examples from the top of my head: Meghan Ory ( Red/Ruby) was promoted to main cast for S2 of OuaT but barely appeared on the show. Eric Dane (Mark Sloan) was a regular in Grey's Anatomy S9 even though his character died after 2 episodes. Camilla Ludington (Jo Wilson) was recurring but appeared in 22 out of 24 episodes.
At this point, I just think Norrie got a bigger part than they antipicated and I don't see them killing her off. If they did, it would really shock me.
Well then I'd get a box of tissues before next week because things look bad for Norrie. I doubt her status as one of the four will protect her either. In fact I think it makes it even more likely, what other way to drag the show into a second season than to kill one of the people who are meant to be part of the solution?
Another example: Amber Benson (Tara) in Buffy. After being guest star for a long time she even appeard in the intro as a regular. That was the episode she died. I think it was a clever way of the producers not to give the death away.
As for Norrie - I think she's staying. Just a hunch.
She is connected.. but if she die, maybe something wrong will happened to the dome... so with that, we have our last episode of the season...An Apocalypse in the dome in result of it.
This whole thing is completely messing with my head :/ Whatever happens, I hope they know what they are doing. And also, it would be really sad if Norrie died because I can barely imagine how horrible that would be for Joe. I don't want to see him sad and depressed for the rest of the show :/
So Big Jim goes crazy when he finds out about the kids and bring the dome down, Norrie at least. That explains why they kill him and then it opens up the way for barbie to take over as town leader. I know that given who the actors are its much more likely for Norrie to die than Big Jim but I really hope it doesn't go that predictable way.
Its there a rule that if you are a regular on a show on abc you need premission to be on a show on nbc or something like that. I think making them a regular is a way of holding on to the actor. Since the actress that plays Norrie is a noone it isn't likely that she will go anywhere.
How is Big Jim getting away with all of these murders? I'm sorry, but the town is tiny, its trapped under a friggin dome and he has killed what, 10 people out of a town of 150? How stupid are these people.
Does anyone else notice how the writers are treating the Dome a little like how "The Island" was used in LOST? I like that idea. For Example, during the riot, The Dome "made" it rain, and The Dome "saved" Julia after getting shot (supposedly, at least that's what I think)? Or, maybe it's too early to make this kind of conclusion.
Where? I need a source to calm my mind :P Oh, and I'm sorry to say this, I really am, but an appearance as a dead body could also be counted as a regular guest appearance. I SO hope that is wrong and she is alive, but I am holding my breath for two more weeks to find out.
Voice-over from promo for the series premiere: "In June of 2013, 1,076 people will be trapped..." 150 is how it appears to be in these episodes, but they are apparently going by a much larger number.
Still, for a small town like that, everyone knows everyone.. people are going missing left right and center... kind of dumb that nobody is noticing these dead people or that Jim is the killer
That's cool, but to be honest, I'll wait for the official press release for the episode before I can trust the Web. They might've just added her there because she's been in every other episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteThey did say that one of the characters we've grown to love will die by the end of the season.

ReplyDeleteDon't say that! :( It frightens me because it makes sense. And I don't want it to make sense :(

Thank you! I needed that logical explanation today. I'll seriously cry like a little girl if they kill her off hahahaa

I just think the regular cast can't die until the last episode of the season... and the others ...before

ReplyDeleteSo Big Jim is somehow responsible for bringing the dome on the town?

ReplyDeleteHey guys--Mackenzie Lintz is in the cast lineup for the finale, called "Curtains." I think she'll be hanging around for a while.
ReplyDeleteThat would make sense since the Mini Dome needs Four Hands and she is one. What would happen if one of those four die? I love that story arc.

ReplyDeleteI searched under the dome curtains cast and found it under Movie Web. I sure hope it's not a dead body!
ReplyDeleteIntimidating kids? You've sunk way too low for the sake of power Jim....
