  1. Out of the three pilots I watched today, this one was my favorite. I loved it! I hope people aren't turned away by the title.

Will definitely be watching this show.

  2. Malin Akerman and Bradley Whitford was a better fit than imagined.

  3. It was better than i thought it would be and i agree with klutzy that it was the best out of the three pilots today...

  4. I actually liked it more than I expected. Pretty solid pilot. Nice thing to watch when you want to relax with a good comedy.

  5. Yeah, pretty good. Good potencial.

  7. Enjoyed the pilot quite a bit. Opening scenes were weak, but everything else was great. The children weren't annoying, Kate and Diane (the surgeon) were interesting characters, and the jokes were pretty funny. I cracked up when Kate joked about how Peter actually IS making a federal case.

Not sure how well the friend Meg will fit into the show, but we'll see.

  8. FYI: The role of the daughter was recast. Bailee Madison will play with daughter, and the daughter's scenes will be reshot.

  9. What? Damn, daughter is cool in pilot, but this Bailey person looks like a little kid.

  10. Bailee Madison is a really good actress, especially for her age. Give her a shot!

  11. She just dosn't look like type of person who would sneak vodka in water bottle on concert. It's miscast. Daughter they have now is perfect for this part.

  12. My favorite of the 3 pilots today.

  13. I thought it was much better than I expected and I love Bradley Whitford, but I still don't see myself setting apart time to watch this one. Maybe in a marathon on hiatus.

  14. Really wanted to love this because I like Akerman but she was the only good part. The rest of the cast was really bad, they are not believable as a family and akerman and her husband have no chemistry. I don't know how long I can watch a show with only one good character. I finished the whole episode and might give episode 2 a chance but I don't have high hopes for the show.

It was definitely the best out of theses 3 but only an okay show.

  15. I disagree I thought they have no chemistry

  16. shes 14 but ya she looks young. I saw her in just go with it and on once upon a time as young snow and both times she annoyed me.

  17. Personally she annoys me when shes on screen. She comes off as a little brat.

  18. Yes she was recast but the scenes aren't being reshot. The old daughter will be in the pilot and the new daughter in epsiode 2

  19. Yeah, I saw that, as I posted that article here. TVLine previously reported that the daughter's scene in the pilot will be reshot.

  20. I liked it a lot. I have a hard time saying "love" just from the pilot because I pretty much grow to love my comedies with time as I become more attached with the characters (New Girl being the exception because I fell in love with it right away) but it was really nice. I laughed a few times and I liked the characters and potential for dynamics. It does seem like a perfect fit with Modern Family though.
