  2. McCollins is exactly why I didn't like it.

  3. I loved McCollins scenes today! They have a real, grown up, honest to God realationship!!!! I will be devastated if season 4 will finish with Andy going back to a closed up Sam!!! McSwarek was a mess based on pure chemistry - that's not a way to start a relationship and even more to continue it. Sam and Andy 95% of the time weren't honest with each other and that's not how you live your life!!!
I used to be a McSwarek fan cause I'm a romantic and I want a happily ever after but after watching season 4 and how both Andy and Nick matured as people individually and as a couple I really hope the writers will realise what they created when they made McCollins and STICK WITH IT!!!!

  4. Great episode. Really setting up for the finale where we will find out that things aren't always what we think. Sorry McCollins fans - Nick was always just a physical distraction for Andy. He's not even in the same sport as Sam let alone the same league. Little boy Collins is going to get let down hard soon. They've shoved the N/A scenes in our faces for a month now and they don't add up to the amount of passion in one of Sam/A scenes tonight. Can't wait for next week when McCollins is exposed as a rubber dingy, not a ship.

  5. OMG!! I wish I could vote your post up a million times!! I really agree with you on all points and this is the best season to date! I really hope they stick with McCollins for a long time. I've NEVER been a fan of Andy and Sam, I loved her and Luke together before the writers ruined that. I just feel like McSwarek is SO forced upon us, in my opinion no real chemistry and too one-sided with Andy putting in all the work and is suppose to be the "endgame" I'm guessing for the series, but I hope it's not. Even if McCollins doesn't last long, I really don't want her to be with Sam. I rather Andy find someone in/outside of the division or ultimately end up single and be the strong independent woman that she is.

  6. i love that you see it too. when i see mcCollins, i see puppy love, the kind that u get tired of, thats all giggly and no passion. Platonic interactions between sam/andy have more intensity than that.
i like nick, but not as endgame for Andy. he had more with Gail, especially when he he first joined the squad.

  8. You can't honestly believe that Nick is more than a contrived plot to hold off on the good candy.....McSwarek. This whole season has been a complete manipulation from the writers to see how much they could damage Sam and Andy only to bring them together again. They've painstakingly painted Sam with the bad guy brush while trying extremely hard to portray Nick as a golden boy. But I remember all the good moments for McSwarek, and all the sweet things Sam has done for Andy, so one season of manipulation is not going to sway me, only annoy me. Now maybe if Nick and Andy had an ounce of the chemistry Sam and Andy have then I would consider jumping ship, but the truth is they don't. And I know you think the "McCollins" fan base is so BIG and growing but you also think they have a shot at being end game so...... And trust me, the writers have no problem spitting in your face. Look what they've done to the large majority of the shows fanbase, they gave us a season of McCollins. It's pretty clear they will do exactly as they please and don't give a rats behind about what fans think. This whole season has been a slap on the face. But I keep telling myself that the longer Nick and Andy are together peacefully the better it is for McSwarek in the long run. It’s pretty clear RB writers like to write troubled romances so if your couple is a happy one, you can bet it’s not going to last.

  9. I thought that this episode was absolutely AMAZING even though it filled me with so much anxiety that I could barely sleep last night! I LOVED all of the McCollins stuff, I love their relationship and the way that they've built it on friendship. Andy made it clear to Sam that she trusts Nick, and that's a big deal, I don't think Sam expected that at all. I will be so upset if the writers and Tassie Cameron don't see the potential in this pairing, I feel like they've written it so brilliantly, that maybe the positive feedback from fans will persuade them to continue it. Andy and Sam always had passion, but their relationship was toxic, they always end up hurting each other, they never fully had that trust or open honesty that Nick and Andy seem to have. You shouldn't have to try so hard to be with somebody, Andy and Nick just blend together so naturally and the love and concern for each other was written on their faces this episode. I am terrified and anxious to see what next week's finale brings!

  10. I am one of those people who are not really excited by this season. For the reason that Andy is the focus/gets more on screen show and I am sick and tired of the love triangles. There was the Andy/Luke/Joe, Andy/Luke/Sam, Andy/Sam/Sam's emotional insecurites, Andy/Nick/?Gail, Andy/Sam/?Marlo and to some extend the Andy/Sam/Monica triangle.
Going by their S4 there "change or die" - I really thought they were not going to see Andy dating anyone. Just be done with dating for the season so she can focus on herself and find out who and what she wants in a relationship. But then came Nick and I liked the idea of them until earlier in the season I watched those mini websodes (where the officers visits the ?psychologist). Sam session was telling. He still had major feelings for Andy. Andy wasn't over Sam and here they are dating other people. And of course from the show we now know that Sam sees a future with Andy. Seriously this back en forth is killing me. Nick and Marlos relationships to Andy and Sam were doomed from the get go. Why not just have Andy and Sam be together then they can show us the up and downs they have as they try to navigate the real world as a couple? or Just let the change happen in Andy/Sam relatioship and end it (die) so we can have McCollins. The drama in Andy relationships in overshadowing all other things happening in the show. It was good in S1 & S2 but now it is overdone, getting r-e-a-l-l-y old and tiring. One last thing, I never liked Chloe so hopefully she will not be back in S5. She is meant to be the opposite of Gail. Gail is grumpy and cynical, Chloe is peppy and happy. I would rather have Gail over Chloe. You know what Ollie says about happy people!!! LOL.

  13. This has been my favorite Rookie Blue season of all. In addition to liking the different paths that the writers have taken with some of the characters and relationships, I've really enjoyed many of the cop/detective subplots. I would have liked to see some personal drama for Luke this season, but the Andy/Nick, Traci/Steve and Oliver/Cellery storylines kept me more than entertained. I think that Marlo and Steve were positive additions to the cast, though I fear that we might be seeing the end of Marlo.

Low points of the series included 1. Chris becoming a Dad and finding out that he was wasn't the biological father 2. The way they handled the Noelle/possible breast cancer story, 3. The fact that Andy will yet again be in serious trouble, and that her actions, though made with good intentions, have now resulted in the worst possible outcome for the division, and 4. Chloe. Chloe. Chloe. Her character is so incredibly annoying, that she made Dov annoying, simply by association. Her fake brand of silly quirkiness never worked for me, and if they didn't bring her back next season, I wouldn't complain.

But despite those flaws, I really loved this season and will be bummed when it's over. I'm hoping that it doesn't end in a huge cliffhanger, though.

  14. mcSwarek all the way. Hopefully this is the start of the ending of McCollins and Andy realising that Sam is truly the one for her. Fingers crossed for next week

  15. Amen!!! Its painfully obvious what the writers goal has been. Nick and Andy are nothing but a contrives BS plot. Yawn.

omg i tatally agree< any fan that has watched the show from the begiining gets why sam and andy r so great and belong together. They r trying to make nick out as mr perfect and he s far from it< he s to boring for andy as was look. she needs a guy like sam, they have passion and chemistry by the bucket loads. im really dissappointed with this season but have high hopes that we will get the real true couple back, the shows heart sam and andy!

  18. I think he went after Oliver because he probably would be the best fit for the uniform.

  19. I watched the show from the very beginning and was never particularly sold on Andy and Sam, even though they had good chemistry. If the writers go back to that relationship, it will be because they're trying to please diehard fans. But to me, Nick and Andy really work as a couple and also have a lot of chemistry.

  20. Andy and Nick are cute, that's it but I want Sam and Andy back, Nick is a good friend, but she has enough good friends. Sam is her rock, from the time she held the bomb, no matter what he says, nothing showed his love like that moment. He doesn't want to be hurt again, hence Marlo, nothing really serious, distraction, to keep him thinking about Andy.
Congrats to Dove for this latest direction, he has a great future. Bringing Chole's husband into the next season, adds another love story, we have enough.

  21. I watched the show from the beging and I don't think Andy and Sam should end up together!!! And only passion and chemistry isn't a good base for a solid relationship but only for a good sex and that's it!!! You don't build a life based only on that cause that passes eventually!!!

  22. Maybe we see different things. For me, its always been Sam and Andy. And I see chemistry and passion but also love and friendship in their past relationship. I see a little fear too. Fear of loving someone so much that losing them would make your heart bleed.

Nick is the easy choice. I'm not saying that they couln'd have a good and loving relationship, but that's it, it will only be good. Sam and Andy would be great.
