  1. For me, Season 2 & 4 were the best ones. Season 1,3,5 were above average. Season 6 was really good.

  3. One & Three for me, season 2 was all orgy all the time..I did not even buy the DVD, not a season I want to see again.

  4. Season 3 was when I fell in love with the show.

  5. Season two because of Godric, season 3 because of Russell and season 5 because of Authority, although the whole Authority thing had MUCH bigger potential and they kind of wasted it, but meh.

  6. The season where they were witches...

  7. Season 2, I liked the whole Dallas thing for some weird reason, and I LOVED Maryann so much. My second would be season 3, because of Russell.

Also really loved Seasons 1 and 2.

  9. Deffo seasons 1-2. It felt like a real continuation, same feel and format with all the storyline a very connected. From s3 onwards it got a bit disjointed with characters barely interacting and not being connected.

  10. I think that is TB's biggest issue, by far, but I think this season it was very jointed and connected, don't you think? I was very impressed with the improvement they made.

  12. So hard for me...

I guess I will go with season 4 as my favorite.

    S4
    S6
    S1
    S3
    S5
    S2

Season 4 is my favorite because I'm a sucker for the more paranormal side of supernatural, I liked Marnie as a villain because she had a reason to be, Jesus and Laffeyette having a bigger plot, and I liked the whole Eric loosing his memory plot, leading Sookie to look past his vanity, plus the interesting choice to have Pam and Eric fall out. This season the characters looked a little crisper too! My only gripe is that the warepanther thing dragged on a little to long.

Season 6 I also like very much. It's beginnings often reminded me of first season in that it had a nice edge of mystery to it that hadn't been felt in quite the same way since. The writers really played with us in terms of what side new characters were on. I liked that a good chunk of vamps were together. It was more character driven and a very fun season. We also got to see different sides of characters, such as a more disgruntle and grounded Sookie and a more humanitarian Tara. My only gripe is the warewolf stuff was really counter productive and that Lilith stuff is confusing and doesn't feel very resolved in terms of she was successful in her work or not, unless we're actually not done with it yet?

Season 1: There was something about that first season that was special, probably because it's a much simpler season, as it's where the mythology and Sookie's introduction take place. I also liked how we could just see characters date and that ultimately the seasons antagonist was a human and not a supernatural being!

Season 3: Well Russel Edgington has to be one of the best characters in the series! -But my favorite character is also featured through out, being introduced at the end of season 2, Sophie-Anne!! Much like seasons 4, I like the way Tara and Sookie are written opposite to each other here. We got more Nan and Magistor too, and the warewolve plot was fun and made sense.

Season 5. Season 5 was not very character driven and characters were segregated for most of the season, but I did enjoy Roman and Authority and the concept of the Vampires not being on the same side in terms of philosophical outlooks. Russel came back, Steve is a gay Vampire, and Sookie has to deal with killing Debbie Pelt and having the former angry Pam turn Tara into a temporarily demented Vampire! We got a lot of Eric and Bill Bromance and sad end to a romance between Sam and Luna. It also set up the premise for season six!!

Season 2: I love Michelle Forbes and her Meanadian ways and I liked that Tara had a big story line, but the season was a little over the top and too sexualized for my over all tastes. But, I liked how me Daphne and Eggs and how Sookie's house always seems to be a place were a lot of stuff happens.

  13. Season 2 as it seems to be the last time each of the main characters had real storylines before often getting sidelined due to new characters.

  14. I agree with you. TB hasn´t been this good since season 1 and 2. Once more Sookie, Bill, Jason and Eric seems like the main characters. We got a bit more of Pam, which is a big plus. Less Tara - also a big plus.

  15. Season 2, 3 and 4.

  16. This season has improved. But yes Season 1 and 2 where at its strongest.. even when Sookie was in Dallas it still connected. Two storylines that connected instead of all the random ones in season 3 onwards.

  17. Season 2 and 3. S2 was the season that completely hooked me.

I didn't watch true blood until this year. I didn't automatically like it but it took time to warm up to it, It is a good show for a vampy series. I mixed the votes up one of the earlier one is s2 and the latest s6.
