  1. Ray Donovan (not really the show itself, I watch it because Ray is kind of an interesting character and that's the main reason I enjoy watching the show), The Newsroom (I didn't like S1, but S2 is quite good!) and Web Therapy. Breaking Bad joined the list last Sunday.

  2. Tough choices. I'd have to say my top 3 favourite new shows are Graceland, The Bridge and King and Maxwell

  3. Whodunnit

  4. Where the hell is True Blood?!

    ReplyDelete
  5. The submitter must've forgotten it.

  6. I wish we could choose two alternatives: Under the Dome has since its series premiere taken the prize of my all-time favorite series. But I also enjoy Devious Maids, something about it is just hilarious and... well, devious. I selected UTD, but I wish I could choose DM as well.

  7. There is only one answer to this, Breaking Bad.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Breaking Bad is the best summer show (or simply just the best show).

Other shows I liked this summer is True Blood, the Killing, The Newsroom and Graceland.

  9. Dear Sally, you can't name 14 shows and not name the biggest event of the whole summer.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'm missing True Blood and Teen Wolf on that list. It seems all of the listed are not SciFy/Fantasy Shows. Even then my pick would not be one of those ist Strike Back.
I really love that show, it is different and smth very refreshing on the screen.
action, bromance, sex and a good written plot!

  11. Maybe Sally submitted the poll before the show's return.

  12. Breaking Bad. Thanks for adding it ;]

  13. Whose Line Is It Anyway

    ReplyDelete
  14. Orphan Black started in March and ended on June 1st.

  15. I dropped UTD and Ray after 3 episodes, new season of Teen Wolf and True Blood disappointed me, Graceland is good, but there are things that started to annoy me, so I have to choose Siberia.

    Teen Wolf!!

  17. Perhaps and sometimes with these polls the shows listed are the ones the submitter is interested in rather than a complete list.

    ReplyDelete
  18. That would be my second choice, wish this season had more episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Returning show: Breaking Bad

    New show: Devious Maids

    ReplyDelete
  20. True Blood!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Had a hard time making up my mind between Suits and Under the Dome, went with Suits and was happy to see both were at the top of the list.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Suits! I love this show! I know Donna and Lewis are supporting characters but they are downright fantastic in it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Suits and Breaking Bad.

    ReplyDelete
  24. All Of Them. All Great Shows.

    ReplyDelete
  25. teen wolf
    and burn notice

  26. Camp! Rachel Griffiths is amazing as always.

    Burn Notice and Covert Affairs!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Major Crimes and Suits.
Graceland has become very good as well. A few twists I did not see coming.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Teen Wolf.

    ReplyDelete
  30. That was really hard to choose!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Orange is the new black & Under the dome

    ReplyDelete
  32. Teen Wolf
    Under the Dome

    Major Crimes
    PLL
    King & Maxwell
    Twisted

    ReplyDelete
  33. Breaking Bad obviously... Other shows that i really enjoyed are Suits, The Newsroom and Teen Wolf.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Definitely Switched at Birth. And also The Fosters. With Castle, Bones, HIMYM, and Mike & Molly on hiatus (and now Bunheads cancelled D:), both shows give me a reason to look forward to Mondays during the summer.

  35. I find the absence of Covert Affairs, The Killing, Dexter and, especially, True Blood to be very intriguing. My summer shows this year have been: Dexter, True Blood, The Newsroom, The Killing, Under the Dome, Suits and Covert Affairs. It is hard for me to singe out one because I am attracted to different things in all of them and some are longer on their runs than the other so I am more attached to them. I would have voted for Dexter had it been here, but since it is not, my vote goes to Suits, which is a tremendously underrated show. I think the acting, writing and dialogue is fantastic and it has amazing relationships and characters all around that really glue you in.

  36. I absolutely adore Suits to death, but to be honest I find the Louis Litt character to be tremendously overrated (both on the show itself and on the fandom). For me, he is easily the weaker part of the show, I can never find myself rooting for him. Even in 3x02 when Mike turned him down to get back with Harvey and everyone felt sorry for him I just couldn't care, the guy is too much of a cariature for me. This is just my opinion obviously, and I am clear a minority, but I just find it curious that so many people like him so much. (Donna I am right with you there... she is amazing in every scene she is at, I adore her!)

  37. It is the first show that comes to my mind when I think about summer TV (not to say it is my favorite, but it is definitely a summer staple), weird not to see it here

  38. AngelaRobinson9021 August 2013 at 14:26

The Newsroom for sure... followed by Under The Dome (if they keep up with the mini dome arc)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Other:
Dexter. It's been one of my favorite seasons. I love tall the new he characters, the process of elimination-like plots, and all the tie-backs.

    Then:
True Blood (GREAT SEASON, but a weird finale)
    The Newsroom
    Ray Donovan
    The Bridge
    The White Queen
    Under the Dome

    ReplyDelete
  40. True Blood (very good season but like everybody said... weird finale !). Then, I will go for The Killing and Devious Maids (did not like the first episodes but since the third, it is a good guilty pleasure). Finally, Under The Dome which is quite entertaining but also disappointing !

I have to catch up Dexter, Breaking Bad & The Bridge !

    ReplyDelete
  41. Other- Futurama

I don't watch many summer shows; aside from Futurama I watched Falling Skies and Under the Dome, but those were/are midly entertaining. Even if this isn't Futurama's best season it often makes me laugh, so that's why I chose it-

    ReplyDelete
  42. I can't choose just one:PLL,Switched at Birth'Devious Maids,The Fosters,Mistresess,Drop Dead Diva,Rizzoli & Isles,ANTM,Breaking Pointe

    ReplyDelete
  43. Teen Wolf or Covert Affairs for me! The only one of those listed that I've even seen a little of is Baby Daddy.

    ReplyDelete
  44. God it was hard. I chose The Newsroom but Major crimes is also super great !

    ReplyDelete
  45. Not fair it should have been multiple options, im loving Mistresses and Graceland!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. as far as new shows: The Bridge, returning shows/overall: Suits by a fair margin

    ReplyDelete
  47. Pretty Little Liars, Under The Dome, and Twisted.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Burn Notice has been amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I've been trying to recall what episode he was in that turned it around for me,for i too didn't like his character in Suits.. All i remember is he was talking to Donna, and for a second there was a glimpse to another side of Lewis, that's when it happen..

I wish Mike never told Rachel his secret.I don't see any chemistry between them what so ever..

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh yes! Love Longmire!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Love Covert Affairs, its a great summer show, just wish Annie and Auggie didn't become an item. The Killing finally had a good season and storyline. Longmire, not sure if i would consider it a summer show but its another show i'm loving.Oh,and Burn Notice has been good too.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yeah of the 14 shows I have watched this summer (Continuum, Breaking Bad, Sinbad, Primeval: New World, Burn Notice, Under the Dome, Teen Wolf, Falling Skies, True Blood, Longmire, Futurama, Warehouse 13, Defiance, Being Human(UK version)), only 1 of them is in this poll.

Breaking Bad has certainly been my most anticipated.

    What about Teen Wolf?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I enjoy the spin they have put on Annie and August and I like their dynamics pretty much. My only problem was how they got together - it was too fast after Annie being completely in love with Simon to the point of even considering running away with him, to her having a fling with Eyal and then end up in love with Auggie in a very short time span. I think a spark was always there, sure, but they moved it too fast imo. But it doesn't particularly bug me. As for Longmire, I have never watched it!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well, whatever episode it was, I think it only worked for you, I am still on the other side. As for Rachel/Mike I am really happy with their relationship. I think it has been very well balanced, fun, and with real issues/ complications, not just made up for the sake of having troubles. IMO, the chemistry is all there, but that is a very subjective thing. I think they had the necessary build up and time before it and that it happened right when it should have.

    ReplyDelete
  56. My top 2 options both fall under Other. Without a doubt, Breaking Bad is the best show of the summer. But if you want to go with a show that started earlier in the summer, then Burn Notice is the easy winner. So: Breaking Bad > Burn Notice > Anything Else

    ReplyDelete
  57. From the List, Under The Dome. But I like Burn Notice the best.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Agreed! That is my biggest pet peeve with the show, they all have her liking,or in a relationship with someone. And yes,it was ridiculous having her and Auggie so involved so close after Simon. And what about how Auggie reacted when his girlfriend left him.I thought he was about to kill himself he was so overwrought. It didn't take him that long to find renewed interest in Annie....

One day check out Longmire, its good!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Breaking Bad (literally my favorite show of all time) and I really really enjoyed The Killing this season. I've watched a couple others too but nothing as obsessively.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yeah totally agree about Auggie as well and I really think they could have waited another season to get them together. Some shows seem to go one season too far to get them together (Castle, Bones), but CA did it too soon IMO. Anyway, as I've said, I think it is being very well done so far despite the suddenness of it all, so no major complaints!

If I have the time I may check it out thanks ;) There are just way too many shows, it's hard!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Sorry but I can't choose just one out of the 100's of summer shows. Mine are Teen Wolf, Suits, Breaking Bad, Continuum, and Dexter.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I voted other, because I missed Covert Affairs.

    ReplyDelete
  63. TEEN WOLF is the best summer tv show.

    ReplyDelete
  64. under the dome, PPL, the bridge, the fosters, baby daddy, twisted and devious maids.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Dexter, true blood, covert affairs and the one no has mentioned yet: Graceland!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Teen Wolf , Strike Back and Falling Skies .

    ReplyDelete
  67. Too many.... I refuse to pick just one....

    ReplyDelete
  68. Covert Affairs! Followed by Under the Dome.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I can't choose just one! Suits, The Newsroom, Rookie Blue...
Other good summer shows: PLL, True Blood & Saving Hope.
I really need to catch up on Dexter asap!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Other - Burn Notice :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. why isn't dexter consider a Summer show?

    ReplyDelete
  72. I Had it on mine as "Other", but either the poll creator forgot that it is on, doesn't watch it, and/or technically this is the first and only summer it has been on, since they were kind enough not to let us wait till fall for the new and final season, which is when it 'should' have been on.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Teen Wolf by a lot. Then Burn Notice and Graceland. I've also enjoyed Warehouse 13, Perception, Primeval: New World, Defiance, and most of Under the Dome. I think Necessary Roughness has been better this season too with the jump to the new job.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I haven't been watching much TV (yet) this summer. The only "can't miss" series for me is Major Crimes. I am really surprised how much Raydor and Rusty have captured my heart. What a tough situation.

I loved Suits, but it really stresses me out. There is TOO much drama for me and I can only take it in small doses.

Under the Dome has definitely captured my interest, but I have only seen 1 complete show so far. I plan on watching more during the post summer / pre fall TV season..

    ReplyDelete
  75. Necessary Roughness has been great this season! Also The Newsroom! And Camp!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Well Teen Wolf obviously but I voted Pretty Little Liars since it's my favourite of the ones up there. I also like Fosters, Twisted and Under the Dome.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Teen Wolf!! Closely followed by The Fosters, Switched at Birth and Pretty Little Liars. I also love Saving Hope and The Listener on CTV. I'm still trying to decide about Under the Dome.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Suits, Under the dome, twisted, and the fosters

    ReplyDelete
  79. It's technically summer but I don't care orphan black is amazing show and plays no role If It's sumershow I am looking forward for march
