True Blood - Season 6 Finale - Ratings

20 Aug 2013

HBO's racy vampire drama averaged 4.1 million total viewers Sunday night at 9 p.m., a slight improvement from the penultimate episode but a drop from the season six premiere in June. (If the 11 p.m. encore is counted, True Blood drew more than 5 million viewers on the night.)

Compared to the season five finale last August, True Blood — wrapping up after 10 episodes instead of the usual 12 — was down nearly 1 million viewers.

  2. Can't imagine the ratings picking up next season, probably will average out though.

  3. Sadly the quality of HBO shows has dropped in the recent years and this is the prime example.

  4. I'm not surprised this season sucked!!!! Was expecting more given what we got the first 5 seasons - really dissapointing season!!! Hopefully in season 7 they'll make up for it, and they better bring Eric back otherwise I'm out as a viewer.

Hey, TVLine has posted an interview revealing Eric's fate and other tidbits from next season, somebody should put it up here too: http://tvline.com/2013/08/20/alexander-skarsgard-leaving-true-blood-eric-death-nude/

I always do and they never fail to amaze me hahaha. I thought it was a weak episode but I'll excuse it since it closed the megalomaniac phase of the show, setting up a more grounded season 7. My only wish is they brought Mary Ann back someway, I loved her so much hahahhaa
