  2. Ugh, Episode 8.11 Synopsis just revealed who the "Brain Surgeon" is ...

  3. ''Later, an important person in Dexter's life is murdered before his eyes.''

I think I preferred the short synopses that didn't say anything about the plot at all. Also... A hurricane? Really?

    ReplyDelete
  4. You Could Of Added Major Spoiler. You Guys Sort Of Just Spoiled Dexter.

    ReplyDelete
  5. YES YES YES! "Hurricane Laura" (which is also ironically not just Dexter's mom's first name, but mine) is TRUE! Finally Saxon's name is in the synopsis!! I have been treading on eggshells not to say it in comments! (But what the heck does Monkey in the box mean?? -I keep think of Phantom of the Opera's Monkey Music Box or like [genetically] experimented monkeys in a cage!)

The chaotic storm is what will make everything nuts! I'm also currently reading Jeff. P. Lindsay's first novel which is title "Tropical Depression", so I have to wonder if this is also a wink to that!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Important person? I was thinking Harrison but he's in the episode after that, so my guess that it might be Deb who gets murdered.
Hurricane? Sounds pretty cool to me.

I know that IMDB should be taken with a grain of salt but I was checking it, anyway, to see who Saxton was since I had forgotten...and I noticed that the actor, Kenny Johnson, will be in the next episode up until the Series Finale as a US Marshal. Anyone have an idea what his role is?
He was pretty good as Lem on The Shield, btw...

    ReplyDelete
  7. I can tell you it's not Deb, unless the murder is staged.

I'm thinking maybe Quinn, Batista, or Jamie. I would go with Jamie, because the season is playing to Mother figures/themes this season and Jamie is yet another mother figure for Harrison and in some ways Jamie's personality traits are at time's similar to Laura Moser's, being so young and youthful, being in love with a cop...

    ReplyDelete
  8. It does, but the synopsis has left out something incredibly important about Saxon.

    ReplyDelete
  9. It appears we are finally moving away from the bland protege story, and back into the long forgotten Brain Surgeon. A much more fitting "final boss" for the series.

    ReplyDelete
  10. So the spoilers were true :(
    RIP: Dexter.

    ReplyDelete
  11. lol took the words out of my mouth...What I was thinking, Hurricane? Jesus, this can't be good....

    ReplyDelete
  12. The protege stuff actually ties in, but it isn't clear if the ending features Saxon alone. The spoilers for those episodes are VERY vague on 10, 11, &12, but I could see a few things happening, like the bags withTravis Marshall's body parts washing up with Jordan Chase's or Arthur Mitchell's on shore, or Mile's assassins/A Federal Marshall chase Hannah...

    ReplyDelete
  13. I think everyone is at there own risk when reading anything pertaining to the final four episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  14. You could tell me ;D .. I thought of Jamie, because she is rather important to his life since he gives him some freedom in respect to Harrison, and wasn't she somewhat cryptic about her character's fate at the Comic Con or so?

Would also see Quinn in tears once again without actually having him killed off, the poor bastard.

  15. I want to know too.

  18. Thanks. Good riddance by the way.

  19. I love this person! They are one of my favorite character's of the series.

  24. Do you really want to know the sex?

    ReplyDelete
  25. you really should mark those ones as major spoilers (the murder and Surgeon's identity are huge), because previous synopses were really vague and I didn't expected that.

  27. Deb or Vogel? (Rhetorical Question!)

    ReplyDelete
  28. "someone important to Dexter is killed".... "Dexter decides between going with Hannah and Harrison or a kill" Not his son, not the woman he clearly still wants. That's gotta make you worry

    ReplyDelete
  29. Wait and I guess he chose the kill because Dexter is still in Miami when this "hurricane" happens

    ReplyDelete
  30. ahh! could you please tell me? im a spoiler freak!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Didn't the brain surgeon die? what am i missing?

    ReplyDelete
  32. No.he didn't. AJ Yates was not the brain surgeon.

    ReplyDelete
  33. oh okay! ill look around and see a recap or two about Yates. thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  34. what spoilers? i read that it's RIP deb :O

    ReplyDelete
  35. Go up to where I replied to LucAltaiR. It has several "SPOILER" s after it...click on the "see more" button at the divide line and it will show you what I wrote. :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oops, sorry, by Dexter I meant the show, not the character.

    ReplyDelete
  37. My guess is Dr. Vogel, because she's suppose to die in episode 10 by being kill by Saxon.

    ReplyDelete
  38. i cant believe that they went with the hurricane route. people on imdb were thinking that if they did that then the season would definitely go downhill....

    ReplyDelete
  39. i am unsure if saxon really is the brain surgeon. for all we know, saxon could just be one of those serial killers that just well kills and could not be the main antagonist that dexter has been trying to pursue. hell for all we know, the brain surgeon could be someone we HAVENT met. i guess we shall see when the final episodes happen.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Don't tell me they kill Deb!!!!!!!!!
    I couldn't handle that!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Look what i just found( I didn't know where else to post it)... http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=76040851 ( I hope that isn't true and the only death is you know who)

    ReplyDelete
  42. I don't know about the first one. I know the person's death in question there makes it till the finale, becuase this person is featured in photos from the report where it looks like they are taken from the hospital, possibly being rescued, although some speculate the rescuer kills the rescued....

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thanks for your fast answer. :)
I saw the photos and have read some spoilers (speculations) about the finale but i think i'm in denial XD.....idk i refuse to believe that they would do this. ;(

    ReplyDelete
  44. JC and MCH made the final scenes of the series without DI (actor of Saxon). Saxon is not part of the very secret scenes which were made by just a few people on the very last day. So Saxon will kill neither Deb nor Dex. The final threat will be Hannah.

    ReplyDelete
  45. It will make Hannah worry when after Vogel's death in ep. 12 Dexter will chose Deb again over her and go after Saxon.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Or the final threat will be the hurricane, Miami Metro, and all people that may be after Hannah...

    ReplyDelete
  47. No prob!! :D

In regards to the comments about it on spoiler TV, It's hard to say, but I personally don't think the writers would choose that path between those two characters as the ends of one of them. I'm thinking if one or either of them dies, it won't be directly because of each other. I can't imagine the writers making it that clear cut and doing that to them after everything...one of them would seriously have to loose it!!

However, someone's comic con comments were less than enthused about the prospects of wanting their character to have a future to think about :/

    ReplyDelete
  48. I do know. All I will say is that he is a larger antagonist and he may not be just another patient, but I also know he isn't the only card on the table in terms of other antagonizing things. There's at least one more character that is going to trouble, let alone the hurricane, what Hannah says about Miles' family is true, If Deb and Elway pursue Hannah, and if there is something that tips Miami Metro off about the Bay Harbor Butcher/LaGeurta's murder....

    ReplyDelete
  49. gah! how do you guys find out these things? reddit??

    ReplyDelete
  50. phew! i was like wait what? nooo :p

    ReplyDelete
  51. eh not that important lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. i cannot wait for these final episodes :D
but yeah there are other opposing forces as well. makes me wonder how dexter will deal with all of those things and the hurricane as well...

    ReplyDelete
  53. dude you're awesome! how do you get all these spoilers? so glad you're sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  54. ...um,is the character that is causing trouble by any chance Nikki or the Marshall?(sry, for the short answer... XD )

    ReplyDelete
  55. I believe it will be one of those. The one who's more obviously trouble! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Agree with you and to be honest,i would be disappointed if Hannah would turn out to be a threat now that i'm actually starting to like her. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Aww thanks! There were a bunch of tad bits leaked online (and they are still posted in a forum), allegedly from someone who either had access to the episodes or was on/or knew the crew. So far they seem very very accurate. Not to say that it tells us everything, but it def gave us some big spoilers.

Some of the spoilers also come with putting other spoilers together, such as casting calls and tad bits from things before the season started. I think the last two episodes are still pretty vague and there's def room for speculation. It's anyone's best guess to how it will all end though!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. If I remember right, the character was said to have a multi-episode arc....

Yep!! I found a link for SpoilerTV's original cast annoucment about this character: http://www.spoilertv.com/2013/05/dexter-casting-news-kenny-johnson-get.html

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thanks for that, too. :) Although i / we know quite a lot through all the spoilers i'm truly looking forward to watching the next episodes and i'm also sad that it's all gonna be over in 4 episodes. ;/

    ReplyDelete
  60. Do you mean that --> http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/226-television-cable-and-satellite/66852428?page=5

    ReplyDelete
  61. Ya those, although I had never seen what is on page six. Looks like they are confused about that character too!! XD

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm excited and bummed too! It's going to be hard to let it go. I just hope there is spin off and they find some way to keep the feel of it alive, even if it's through a mostly new cast.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Oh,i do hope that some spoilers are wrong.Don't wanna loose you know (sweet d). ;/

    ReplyDelete
  64. This site is called SpoilerTV. Gosh, people! *g

    ReplyDelete
  65. Just caught up on the information here, and all I can say is that if the only victim (on the "good side") is the one you mentioned, and the rest is staged, it's one hell of a disappointing outcome for all of it. They have to punish Dexter, I don't know how they want to maneuver around that. And not by taking his sister or anyone he loves, and even if they take one of those people it's still just a lazy season 4 rehash, my god. Are those writers really thinking Dex is awesome, Dex is wonderful, Dex is a blessing, and he will continue after this season, unscathed and unpunished? I will be seriously bummed if it indeed moves in that direction, and holy shit have they ruined this show's potential during the recent years. I'm not even angry, it's just a bleak stare of "hey you writers, are you are really that self-absorbed, blind, and happily partying on that you have forgotten to give any, ANY meaning to that show at all?!" I bet every major writer before season 5 is watching last year and this season, just grinning in satisfaction, happy that they made it out there before their name was mentioned in connection with what became of this show.

YES I'M ANGRY xDDD sorry :>

    ReplyDelete
  66. Would any of those things you could see coming be of any danger to Dexter at all, actually? I doubt it, really. They would probably rather think "oh, so they are dead, good. Good riddance." and Dex could still get away without any consequences.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Again, look at the name of this website and decide if you visit it or not, but don't complain about *what this website is all about* xD

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'm not sure whom and what you're referring too in terms of being staged?

My bets are on that Dexter dies trying to deal with saving other lives from antagonists and then possibly dealing with the Hurricane.

You probably haven't read a lot of my other posts and I'm sorry for being so repetitive for anyone who has seen me post this several times already.

My guess is that one way or another Dex will die or be put behind bars.

    1. Scott Buck just signed a 2-yr contract with Showtime. One is the "American Dream Machine", which Michael C. Hall is executive producing. -There's a good chance that, like always, MCH will also be cast. One of the other projects is probably the Dexter spin off. But if MCH is cast, he won't be able to do both series...

    2. Killing Dex while saving others/dealing with weather allow him to die a hero, but not let him continue to destroy other's lives.

    3. I'm not sure about Deb. JC's comic con's comments indicate that she does not want to think about Deb in the future...It's hard to say if she threw us off or gave her character's ending away?? I could see it go either way.

    4. My best guess with the spin off is that it will feature Hannah, because they saved her for the end of the series. I'm thinking given that the Hurricane is named "Laura", that the idea may be to end one cycle and start another. (take back what was created) The mother themes are SUPER blatant this season. Hannah had mentioned before that she always wanted to be mother (and she has a nurturing disposition--the one thing she shares with Rita). So I'm wondering if maybe she gets into a situation where she has to run with Harrison...

    5. I'm hoping that JC did lie, because there are elements this season from books 5 and 6 in the Dexter series and makes me wonder, if Deb would live, if she would end the series pregnant?? (Maybe she could guess star on 'Hannah', since she could always still be a private detective).

    ReplyDelete
  69. Yes imagine he is on his boat during the hurricane or something pins him down. Imagine if someone is after Hannah or Deb and he tries to save their lives, but Harrison is with him. Imagine if they are all one the run together, bit Saxon gave Miami Metro evidence about Dexter and Deb killing LaGuerta. Imagine Mile's assassins going after Hannah, or Jacob Elway, or a US Marsall!! There are plenty of things that could still go wrong.

If we wouldn't have a good chance for a spin-off, then I think the Silence of the Lambs ending would be more plausible, but there are a lot of things I think working against it.

    ReplyDelete
  70. yeah yeah yeah, I just noticed it

    ReplyDelete
  71. hey but there are finale spoilers that show *main female character* dead in a bag...do you think those are staged?

    ReplyDelete
  72. I have not seen those? I have only seen a character wrapped in sheets and in one scene in a hospital gown and in another in regular clothes...Where are those??
But again if that character dies, it's not too much of a surprise to me, because her comic con comments pretty much stated she wished that was the case anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  73. yeah those are the ones i'm talking about - the female in the hospital gown with dex on the boat.

    ReplyDelete
  74. There might be bags (I would have to look again), but I dont recall seeing that character in death or post mortem.

It could be that Dexter is trying to make someone else think he has killed her (another parallel to season 1 perhaps???)

    ReplyDelete
  75. I could see that happening too. On the other side i could also see a season 4 ending.

    ReplyDelete
  76. ooh, ok! yeah that sounds possible! it is plastic, i guess my mind just thought it was bags and i declared her dead lol

    ReplyDelete
  77. Well to be fair, who the heck knows what will happen!! And it is a weird looking sanario :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. ...and somewhere in that scenario is a neonatal nurse. XD....and i wonder if someone is pregnant and if that someone is Hannah??

    ReplyDelete
  79. That's right! - That's probably another reason why I thought about Deb and novels in that regard!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I would definitively watch a Deb and Hannah Spin-Off! ;) (...and i haven't read the books yet (if you mean those))

    ReplyDelete
  81. The books are very different (I have read the first 5). They're way more cheeky. It's more like exploring a family of sociopaths, as Deb knows (and asks Dexter for help all the time) and Cody and Aster are also sociopaths that Dexter teaches...IMO Showtime's version is better. I think there's an element of tragedy and emotional caliber we get from Dexter that one doesn't get in novels. It's a fun read, just not necessarily a compelling one.

    ReplyDelete
  82. LOL. I love that you guys are getting spoilers from a video game site XD

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hehe^^ thanks! I was surprised too as google came up with it and so far the spoiler there weren't wrong. :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. If they are fun to read then maybe i'll read them when the series ends. :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. dude you're awesome! how do you get all these spoilers? so glad you're sharing!
