Thanks to Boris for the heads up.

No Decision yet on whether NBC will pick it up

France’s TF1 and Sony Pictures Television Networks have renewed Crossing Lines for a second season.

There will be 12 episodes this time around (vs 10 episodes in season one) and production will begin on September 22nd. Locations will include France, the Czech Republic, Monte Carlo and Bulgaria.

Regulars William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Marc Lavoine, Tom Wlaschiha, Gabriella Pession and Richard Flood will all return, along with Lara Rossi, who was introduced late in the first season. Guest stars will include Carrie-Anne Moss and Ray Stevenson.

Crossing Lines has been very popular internationally, airing in over 180 territories. It hasn’t been a big hit here in the states however.

  3. If NBC does not pick it up for S2 I seriously hope another network will or even Netflix or Hulu. S1 was amazing it's to good of a show to just end it it the states because NBC may not wanna renew it with them. I am glad it was renewed though with other international companies though that may show NBC that they should seriously take S2 on!

  7. Interesting!
I really liked the scope of the series. The international aspect allowed them to investigate different crimes compared to most US Crime Dramas. I could overlook the low budget action scenes due to the strong main cast of the show.

That said, I am slightly surprised it was renewed honestly...
Some of the weekly guest stars and supporting actors were not very good and some of the dialog left me wanting...

  8. I guess when Sebastian and Eva went into the woods where the footprints appeared on the machine that scanned the area, Eva said i believe "Oh Anne-Marie" or "OMG Ann-Marie". which might tells us they found her dead in the woods
