Walt strikes a deal with ICE to betray all of his business partners for full immunity, but in order to save Skyler from going to prison (she was actually working with the cops and was never in danger), Walt doesn't get Jesse the immunity deal and has to see how he's dragged away to jail for the rest of his life.
Walt's family goes to witness protection and Walt will never see them again. As his records are now clean and his health has gotten better, Walt has nothing left in this world, he lost everything he had and he will go back to being a chemistry teacher, which now is super boring for him.
The final scene is Walt sitting in the classroom after hours, looks outside the window and sees a drug deal happening across the street, takes his gun from the lockbox and heads out - indicating that Heisenberg is not gone.
On the one hand, I think most of us are expecting (rightfully so) that Walter White/Heisenberg will die by the end of the show. But perhaps they're going to avoid that since so many of us are expecting it. At any rate, I wouldn't care if Skylar dies.
The moment Walt killed Mike, I no longer wanted to see Walt get away with it all and survive, I want to see the fall of Heisenberg! The only thing I really do want is for Jesse to survive it all, he deserves to make it out of this.
Agreed... I don't know nor do I much care how, but I do think he does die... Though I hope Hank gets to catch and expose him.... And I do need Jesse to come out of this alive and maybe even get out of the business....
Walt and Jesse won't die because they want spin offs. Now if they didn't want spin off I would say ideally Walt's cancer should return and he would die. Now I think its possible that Skyler or Hank or both will die. I would like to believe that Hank would help with Walt but he may not be against it all and try to turn Walt in, which forces his murder. Now Skyler dying too, if she died it would force Hank for re think his life and I could see him quitting. Now if he quits, they can still do a spin off where he and Jesse start cooking again.
I think Walt will witness the pain and destruction he brought upon his family and then succumb to a fit of coughing. It would be emotionally excruciating.
My co-worker made a great suggestion the other day that I thought could be possible. Walter's not dead, but dead inside. The fact is, he started this to save his family - instead, it should destroy his family completely. I won't be shocked if his son dies somehow, his wife is in jail, ect...he'll end up alone.
Not sure if this would actually happen, but it was a decent enough though that I figured I'd share it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Walter dies, period.
ReplyDeletei dont know why but i feel it will end with both of them still cooking.
ReplyDeleteDevastatingly.
ReplyDeleteI honestly haven't the slightest clue, but I could live with an ending like the Shield.
ReplyDeleteI think Hank dies, and Walter & Jesse try but ultimately fail to stop cooking,
ReplyDeleteI've been saying for years Walter will go into witness protection and that will be the beginning of Malcolm in the Middle.

Breaking Shield
Cast members are using words like "tragic" and "polarizing" and "everyone will be happy" about the finale. I have no idea how it will end.
ReplyDeleteI still say they Walt and Jesse ride off into the sunset in a beat up RV together, cooking as they go.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you place the machine gun he bought in all of this?
ReplyDeletehe's going deer hunting on his day off.
ReplyDeleterifles are for wimps :D

I'm hoping none of the above, something completely unexpected...

Interesting theory. Definitely not my ideal scenario but I can see it happening.
ReplyDeleteI think walter dies and skyler take control

ReplyDelete"Everybody dies in this movie."
ReplyDeleteWasn't there already the exact same poll a few weeks back?
ReplyDeleteAs long as it doesn't fade to black
ReplyDeleteHahaha,can you imagine THAT twist?!?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see that. and next week - hand(grenade)fishing ;)
ReplyDeleteThat would be an unexpectedly cool ending.
ReplyDeleteWalter lives, jessy and hank die.
