  1. I'm actually surprised people aren't camping out around the dome to see their loved ones. I know the military presence is daunting but surely someone has tried to sneak up to it.

Intrigued by this outside threat which can only be the military at this point unless it is what created the dome in the first place. Is the military going to try to bomb a hole in it?

  2. From a previous plot snippet, Barbie learn from a friend that military is leaving, don't know if that can be taken for "a threat from outside the Dome".

  3. Hmm, I guess it depends on if they are leaving so they can try to bomb the whole thing or if some other threat comes after the military leaves.

  4. I fully expect them to bomb the dome sooner or later. If the government truly doesn't know what the dome is, it must be scaring the shit out of them too.

  5. I could definitely see it as a last resort. My guess is they have already tried to shoot it and got the same result as Paul did. That might make them more hesitant to bomb it since they wouldn't know what the blowback would be.

  6. True, they might try something smaller like an RPG from a safe distance. With no one in the vicinity of course, which would be a good reason to evacuate (a part of) the perimeter of the dome. I wonder if it will explode on impact or just bounce off like a bullet. In the latter case they especially might want to start with a small scale test.

Wish we'd see more from what's happening outside the dome in general though! :)

  7. Agreed. I would also love to see things from an "outside the dome" perspective also. I think there are great stories to tell there and not being able to see people like Angie and Joe's mom trying to get to the dome loses half the story to me. I do think Julia is going to be even more suspicious when her husband doesn't visit her when the other people do.

    .
According to the casting sides, what the military is planning to do causes the citizens of Chester's Mill to take cover in the school's gym in case the dome comes crashing down on them.
