Man just when you think this show cannot possibly get more exciting they come out with a promo like this one. Cannot wait to see how much they pack into this episode.
I'm wondering how he knew he was going to be taken and also what knowledge he's been holding back. You know he has to know something crucial he hasn't been telling.
I think either Boyd ,Ms. Morrell, or Ms. Blake is going to be the one who dies based on what I have read from spoilers and the remaining loglines. It won't be Issac because supposedly there is going to be a friendship triangle between him, Schoot, and Stiles. Also, it won't be Cora, Peter, or any of the alphas because they will have their own storyline in a couple of the episodes.
The idea that she suddenly came into her druid powers is still a little suspicious to me, but I agree that the show seems to be making her one. As long as she gets a more mytharc-focused part I am good to go with the flow here.
I don't know if they can make both Deaton and Lydia druids and the evidence seems to be pointing more towards Lydia. Could be though. I am beginning to think he is part of a secret society that knows a lot about the supernatural. I wonder how long he's been in Beacon Hills. I know he was there earlier but did he leave and come back when Peter started gaining power again?
That does make sense that it could be either one of them consider that they both could have had access to put wolfsbane in the coaches whistle. I hope they throw in a twist and make it someone other than Blake so it wouldn't have been so obvious from the beginning.
I don't think it could be Morrell. From what I have read and heard from other sources, the Darach (person that is causing all the animals to run in fear) was seen in episode 1. If I remember correctly, neither Deaton, Morrell, or Peter were seen in the 1st episode, so if it is true, then it couldn't be one of them.
Wow, if that's true then they are giving away WAY too many spoilers. Considering how many people were NOT in the premiere, it cuts down on half the suspects. That means Gerard can't be it either as well as many of the students, liked Jared, that just popped up. They should probably stop giving these hints because then there will be nothing left to speculate on which is half the fun.
"Supposedly" Crystal Reed gave it away that the Darach was seen in the first episode. Now whether that's true or not, I have no clue, but if it is then they essentially gave it away. On another note, I think Peter is up to something. Idk what it is, but I find it very strange that it's been over 4 months later since he was brought back from the dead and he still is supposedly not back to 100%. I don't think he is working with Cora because he doesn't even trust her as well, but I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't waiting for the right time to regain his alpha status back.
I completely agree about Peter. He definitely wants to be alpha again and he seems to do his best to undermine Derek in small ways already. Right now it seems like he's waiting to see what happens with the alphas, but I don't buy that. He's a master manipulator so he has to be doing something behind the scenes. It would not surprise me if he were working with Darach to take down the alphas after they kill Derek. Then he could step up again. Whatever it is, Peter's plan is bound to be both brilliant and maddening.
In episodes 10 and 11, he and Derek are going to be working together to save Cora's life according to the loglines. I don't think he is working with Cora or where she was those 6 years. Also, remember Deaton told Derek last season when Peter came back to be weary off him because he is going to pray on his insecurities which is exactly what he did when Boyd and Erica left the pack.
Cora had best become interesting quickly then because right now she doesn't bring anything to the story. I also agree that Peter having anything to do with Cora's reappearance is highly doubtful. Likely she's just another problem in his plan although I bet he will find a way to use her situation to get what he wants. Just like everyone should start listening to Lydia about the supernatural the FIRST time she says something, they should NEVER underestimate Peter. It is to their benefit to stay sharp around him.
I wonder if Peter will be the person that tells Lydia what powers she possesses in episode 8. Also, we have yet to see a Deaton/Derek interaction this season which I really want to see.
At this point, I think Deaton is going to have to. He and Morrell seem to be the only people who know what's going on. However, if Peter is still controlling Lydia I could see him saying something but probably not until around the midseason finale as part of the cliffhanger.
I think there's a good chance that Peter is positioning himself to take over Deucalion's pack. He obviously would not have any qualms killing a beta to do so and he is manipulative enough to take advantage of the situation. I would find it harder to believe that Derek or Scott takes him out although that would be the traditional story line. Of course it's always possible that Shoeless Alpha takes him out when she learns he killed off one of their own.
I think Deaton and Morrell are the one's who will tell Scott and the gang more about the werewolves and whatever went on in the werewolf household in the episode 8 flashback. Who else would know so much about the situation especially considering how close he seems/seemed to the Hale and Argent family??
Another thing that bothers me is that I think that Deaucilion was the person that Chris was referring to in Episode 12 of season 1 when he mentioned the friend that he put a bullet through his head. This would explain how Deaucilion said the exact same quote than Gerard said about getting someone else to do the killing for you. The Argent family is connected to Deaucilion and the Alph pack in some and I think that this explains it.
I'm guessing we have a lot more to learn about Deaton, he knows so much, wasn't he a close friend to the hales? Anyways I think Lydia still somehow has part of Peter's soul in her, judging by the way she finds things out so easily and not to mention, she has some type of sensing powers, like she knows things and has visions..
Hmm...I wonder if she somehow has unknown connections with the Darach and where the heck does she get her powers? Isn't from Peter's soul that was still in her when he caused her to revive him?
anyways about Lydia, we have more to learn about her and I'll be so happy when she learns what she is and how she can use her "powers"
He was a close friend of the Hales and he seems to know a lot about the Argent family based on their interactions. Maybe he's the person that tells Scott and the gang about the night of the fire and info about the werewolves in episode 8.
Also, Peter has to be the one to know what Lydia is because her powers never started until a little while after she got the bite. Not to mention if Deaton knew what she was, then wouldn't he have mentioned or said anything about it before???
I would be surprised if Argent and Duke had a long past. It seemed to me that they were going for Duke being tied to the Argent family through Uncle Alex getting bitten by him. It just feels like Deucalion is way older than Argent but that just might be me feeling that someone as powerful as Duke should be pretty old. That may not be the case in Teen Wolf lore.
Lydia definitely has special senses but I'm not sure why yet. I agree that Deaton knows A LOT more than he's telling and it should be interesting to see how he fits in. First season it felt like maybe he served the Hale family but nowadays not so much. I keep thinking he's part of a secret society that watches the paranormal.
I wouldn't put it past Deaton to NOT tell Lydia what he knows. After all, he didn't tell Scott he knew he was a werewolf right away and that's info Scott could have used. He is very suspicious in that he never seems to give them info unless directly confronted. I doubt he would have told them about the mistletoe and druids still if Stiles hadn't forced him. I do not understand why he is always so reluctant to share info, especially when it could help save lives.
Right now it feels like the Lydia story can go one of four ways to me:
1. Lydia is a natural druid (although that's not exactly how that worked in history) whose powers either magically awoke or were forced open with Peter's bite. Peter used this whether he understood it or not.
2. Lydia had a reaction to Peter's bite and that left her susceptible to him, allowing him to control her. Peter is either still controlling her or it left Lydia vulnerable for other magical beings to manipulate her in the same way.
3. Lydia has always been naturally in tune with the supernatural and gets vibes and other warnings that tip her off to their presence. This makes the supernatural drawn to her and makes her vulnerable.
4. Lydia is a witch or Darach herself. I doubt she ends up being Darach, but it is likely that she ends up having helped him without her knowledge.
Now my big overreaching theory is of course that Lydia is a paranoid schizophrenic who has created the entire town of Beacon Hills and its residents in her head. After all she is a genius and the whole scenario seems like a paranoid delusion.
Unless Deaucilion joined up with the Argents and Chris shot him when he tried to bite one of them. It's just strange how both Deaucilion and Gerard mentioned the exact same quote about getting someone else to do the killing. It can't be coincidence.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Judging by the promo the episode is going to be awesome...as always ;). I hope the vet doesn't die!

ReplyDeleteagreed. Oh, and I am beginning to be swayed to the Lydia the Druid way of thinking.
ReplyDeleteDeaton could be a druid :D a good one
ReplyDeleteand the Darach might be his rival >:D

ReplyDeleteI laughed at "I am going to rip your throat out .... with my teeth." -- sounds completely corny. Other than that, it looks action packed and exciting.
ReplyDeleteI think that your right; Deaton is a good druid.
ReplyDeleteMmm I bet this Darach is a woman and no, I'm not saying is Lydia.
ReplyDeleteThe idea that she suddenly came into her druid powers is still a little suspicious to me, but I agree that the show seems to be making her one. As long as she gets a more mytharc-focused part I am good to go with the flow here.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking more Morrell than Blake but there's no way Blake is as innocent as she seems. She's up to something too.
