Not watched this episode yet, but that is exactly what I like about it too!
It's like we are witnesses to the character's lives as they live them more than witnessing some highly shaped story as entertainment. It's a nice change of pace from much of what is on TV. True drama (seemingly) based on real life.
There's been a couple of those shows this year with this and Rectify earlier in the season.
I think the acting is very good, but I didn't enjoy this one, as much as I enjoyed The Pilot. But Tommy Wheeler is kind of growing on me. Wonder if he will last the season. But it was nice that Ray gave Cloe the money anyways, but I wonder if she'll really use it for, what she said she would and/or if 'the new cloe' will still end up being a problem.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Really enjoyed this episode. And liking the show... it's definitely better than I thought it would be. The acting by everyone is fantastic.

It seemed a little weird that Avi (Rays right-hand man) wouldn't recognize Rays brother on the security tape, they gotta have met before?
