    I really wanted to like Primeval, but it is not near as good as the old one to me. CG is better but not the characters, guess I just miss Potts.

    I am actually very, very close to giving up on the original one. I've finished the second season but I cannot fathom spending one more second with the crazy evil scientist wife on my screen. She may be THE most annoying character I've watched this summer. It's going to be a fight between my OCD, that says I should watch all of a series if I start it, and my irritation, which says if I watch anymore of her I might just break something in frustration. Urgh! I can't stand that lady.


    On the other hand, I like the dynamics of the new one. The characters work for me and the music is pretty good too. Most of the time the plot is interesting (except the spider episode - I don't do spiders). However, if Evan's dead wife comes back from the grave, I am done with this one.
