  1. I love the model name (no doubt short for Dorian)/number with little message: DRN-0167 - Protect Yourself. The Future is Coming.

Very reminiscent of Fringe's final season (Anomaly XB-6783746) Can't wait!

  2. Probably totally unrelated, but I found this 0167 reference to Uncial 0167, which relates to the Gospel of Mark. Do you think it could mean something? :)

  3. Very possible!XD Didn't even think to look it up! That would be interesting to say the least and I can't imagine that spirituality wouldn't play a role in this series.

  4. It's a Bad Robot show, so I figured there would be a hidden meaning to the promotional material. Haha, their shows make look for hidden messages in everything these days. :P

Greek mythology could be great, I don't know how that would tie in with Christianity though? I'm totally not familiar with the Bible, so I don't know what the Gospel of Mark is about. I need to Google that.

  6. Well IMO Bad Robot goes the spiritual route, as opposed to a religious route, were they find the common ground in human spirituality.. The Unical 0167 is a Greek manuscript for the New Testament (As You said a Codex for The Gospel of Mark)...Mark is also known as "John Mark" (Our main characters name is "John" Kennex, which is surely a pun for "connects"). So it's seems that Greece in the 7th century has Christian infuence (and not just polytheism) John Mark is also "the companion of Peter"!! Some speculate that parts of The Gospel of Mark come from Homer's "The Odyssey", as there are parallels.

Even in Fringe we wrestled with a Christianity, Buddhism, with a very small dash of Greecian (Peter's mom/ "Peter and the Machine comic book "Ancient Greece" featured)
