  1. What was it like filming a television show since you are so use to doing films? I'm so excited for this show :)

  3. What made you choose this role? What are some things you hope happens to your character or what directions you'd love to see your character go in? I really look up to you as an actor. You're an amazing role model. I haven't even seen this show yet and I'm already dying to watch--you're an incredible actor! By the way, I just watched Forces Spéciales and I am in love with the film. You play the grittier roles so fantastically well! xoxo Catherine

Why doing a television show since you have the possibility to do a lot of films (and you currently have a lot in project, including one about Hedy Lamarr you're producing)? What drowned you into The Bridge and did you watch some of the original series? I understand a person who has Asperger advises you on set, how is it like to work with him/her and eventually is this role easy to play? Love from France!

  6. What are "The Bridge"s differences from the original series? Will you follow the same story or will you draw your own path and finale? By the way, congratulations to FX for picking up such a great cast ;)

  7. How are you liking filming a television show? What attracted you to this role? There are so many shows about serial killers and murders, what's special about The Bridge compared to the usual procedurals? What can we expect from the dynamics between your character and Demian Bichir's? I understand Sonya has Asperger's, could you elaborate on that? Thank you!

  8. Hi Diane! Is there anything in your character that you can relate to, or do you find a fun sense of freedom in playing someone quite different from yourself?

Did your perspective of Mexico shifted or even changed while filming the show?

How was working with Demian Bichir?

Did you learned something new while filming the show?

As somebody working and living in the US, was it hard for you to stand by a side in such a controversial show?

The original series mixed some social criticism into the crime drama (in true Swedish fashion) and the female cop several times vented her political views on the matter. Will there be similar themes in the American/Mexican version of the series and will your character be as outspoken politically? Personally I think it would be very interesting and the location of this remake should be ripe with material for making political commentary.

The original series played up Swedish v.s. Danish almost to the extreme, especially in the beginning - until you realize that the characters are actually more three dimensional than walking stereotypes of typical Danes and Swedes as the series progressed. Will this remake do something similar when it comes to USA and Mexico?
