I think it just depends on personal preferences. It'll take a lot for me to ever say that I didn't enjoy an episode in some form or another, but I personally thought the last episode was the worst episode they've done this season and close to high on of my list of least favorite episodes ever.
Don't put me on a stake and light me on fire yet-there's only been one episode that I truly can say I didn't like and this wasn't it. that it didn't have a lot really great elements and things I liked (honestly there's only really been one episode I didn't like in the series).
I'm hoping so. Thus far I haven't been as impressed with this season as I thought I would be. I'm not sure if that's because last season was so awesome that I have unreleastic expectations, if they actually did slow down the pace because of having 24 episodes, or if they actually are in a temporary slump. I
I'm not sure it's all from the same episode either. Any other TV show I would definitely say no but Teen Wolf is the fasted pace show I've ever watched so if anyone could cram this much awesome into one episode, this is it.
I found the last episode to be unusually lackluster. There was little action and a lot less snark than most episodes. I liked that it set up what I assume will be a major plot, but there was a lot of talking and standing around and that's not what I watch Teen Wolf for.
I feel the same way you do about the last episode. It was lackluster in a show that is normally on fire. I am not used to that amount of exposition or even characters just chatting on this show. The episode was still better than most TV but it was lacking for Teen Wolf. I expect the show to energize me and I am used to being shocked that the time is already over. This time I found myself checking my clock and it was only halfway through. Here's hoping the action and the humor come back next episode.
Bwah! You may be exactly right about the girl. I think his father is more likely to be upset if he finds that Stiles is poking into the serial killer murders though.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
If these scenes are all from the next episode, it will be much better than the last one... but I doubt it...
ReplyDeleteThe last episode was pretty freakin' awesome, not as awesome as the premiere though. Definitely more awesome than episode 2 though.
ReplyDeleteW00t! Can't wait. This season is sooo awesome so far.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I get the feeling that Stiles is going around asking people if they are virgins? (and that's why the girl slapped him and his father got angry)

It's hard to say the perfect

ReplyDeleteIt always makes me nervous when Lydia stares vacantly off in horror. Here's hoping she will be more than just a pawn this season.

ReplyDeleteI thought the first two episodes, especially the premiere, were paced pretty quickly. My pacing issue is mostly about the last one.
