I'm glad Tom has a daughter after three sons, but that is the most terrifying TV baby in existence. I want them to show more of her so someone figures it out, but at the same time, I'm scared of Alexis and kinda never want to see her again.
Awww at Ben calling Anne "Mom". That was cute!
Can't wait to find out more about the aliens helping them out and am excited for next week!
Really good start to the season... I liked that they forwarded the story and that the Volm(?) are their allies (at least for now) but there is plenty of doubt and mistrust towards them not only by the humans but with the rebel skitters somewhat. Loved seeing Noah Wylie's old ER pal Gloria Ruben as well as Terry O'Quinn (at least for a little bit, bummer but understandable/believable why he got killed off, but really made me wonder who the mole is, and for some reason I don't think it's just Hal who's been compromised- that seems too easy) Loved the evil progression of Karen into the evil overlord to boot as well as Maggie double fisting the guns and kicking ass. Loved Robert Sean Leonard as the new quirky doctor, and that Lourdes is now a doctor and less annoying. What's up with super baby? Cute but creepy. I didn't care for Matt becoming an angsty pain in the butt teen, but hope that is over with. I still like Pope, but am disappointed that his character at least in this ep didn't grow at all and seemed exactly the same, but the season is still young. Awesome start and looking forward to more.
Wow wow such an awesome premiere, wasn't counting on this! The flashforward thing worked wonders for the show, it allows them to explore so many new arcs! Really well done! So much action, drama, and character development going on! Had me with them for the whole 90 minutes! If the season is like this, then the show will jump from good45minutesforsummer to must-watch for me! The only thing I still find a bit meh is karen as the villain, I don't find it believable. And especially now that they have this new technology, why not just take her and de-harness her? Anyway, it is a minor thing in an otherwise awesome episode. The Lexi baby is creeeepy! As for the mole, I dunno. I thought it was going to be Hal but since he knew of the plan, it cannot be. I have no idea... Anthony?
I loved the episode. I think it may be one of the aliens that is the mole. Loved seeing "Wilson" as the mad scientist. I like Pope and I wish he evolved as a character a little more. He could be more interesting if he didn't seem like he always wanted to leave and sabotage the group.Didn't like the baby seeming to have an accelerated growth cycle. Just seems unnecessary. I hope they just don't try to hard to make it interesting. The best part of the show IMO is the comparisons to history that Noah Wylie makes. The Stalin/Churchill/Roosevelt comparison was very good. I enjoy the survival and evolution of people after the invasion part of the show more than the battle scenes and such.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
That was great!
