    What I would not of said, but I agree with your point nevertheless. The "Good" Doctor, the female "Spirit Rider" (Hell Bug Killer), and Jaime Murray are the most interesting characters on the show IMHO, and yet they are only supporting characters. More of these characters would be a "GOOD THING"! HERE 4 SOME DEFIANCE, I am Nobody

    Just watched episode 9 and 10 back to back as I was behind on the show and whilst I still think there is a lot of room for improvement and the Doctor Yewll and ex-Mayor storyline was fantastic! I really didn't see it coming and when she killed Nikki that was a shocker, from the start I found the doctor to be far more interesting than the clichéd Nolan and I hope we get to see more of her.

    Also really liking Stahma Tarr, the way she manipulates everyone and yet still seems to care for Christie is great.



    I was ready to drop the show but I am definitely carrying on with the rest of the season now, it has the potential I hope the writers realise the strengths for next season.

    This was the best episode of Defiance so far. This episode had a little more intrigue, involved much of the cast, included a little more insight into some of the main alien races, and perhaps most importantly, it moved plot forward, while also giving depth to many of the main characters. If future episodes are at least as good, and hopefully better, the show would be meeting some of its potential. Also, I'm liking a lot of the main characters, but Rafe is pretty freakin' cool imo.

    The doctor IS pretty interesting, isn't she? I really like the complicated nature of her past, admixed with her current morality.

    I like the chemistry between Amanda and Nolan too! I hope they get together. I guess I'm them shipping as well. :") While I'm at it, I think Tommy and Irisa have potential too. And, although a different kind of "-ship", I really like Nolan and Irisa's father-daughter relationship, and Amanda & Kenya's sisterly relationship. I hope they'll deepen and explore those relationships more too.
