HollywoodLife.com has learned that Teen Wolf star Sinqua Walls will step back into Lancelot’s armor for the show’s upcoming third season.
“I’m going back to Once Upon A Time in the summertime to do more with Lancelot, so that should be really fun,” Sinqua tells us. “I really love that character.”
So what can we expect from Lancelot 2.0?
“I don’t know exactly how the character’s going to evolve,” Sinqua admits, ”but we’ll see more parallels, and [get more] answers. And is he really dead, or not?”
UPDATE: Curiously, a rep for Once tells us “there are no plans to bring back Lancelot” at this time. (This show really is complicated!)

I had forgotten all about him...It'll be nice if he sticks around for awhile.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a flashback? I've wanted them to do more about the battle in FTL for the kingdom, one of the things missing from the second half of season 2. That and them dropping King George storyline. After the Red/Ruby set up he just disappeared.

ReplyDeleteI was hoping we would get wind of more Arthurian stuff, because it's a great segway with OUAT In Wonderland, as Alice in Wonderland has not only Victorian elements, but also Arthurian (some associate other celtic spellings with :"Avalon"). Even the idea of "slaying" a jabberwocky is medieval-like
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody know how much Mulan/Aurora/Phillip we can expect in season 3? Neal was upgraded to a season regular, and they found him in the season finale, but Jamie Chung and Sarah Bolger both have midseason pilots that were picked up. I'm hoping they're all in at least a few episodes in the first half of the season.

ReplyDeleteI haven't read an article yet that confirms Chung is a series regular on Believe, just that she appears in the Pilot and what her role is, but they just wrote out the other adult female lead...So I don't know which show she's going to stick with more, but I would presume that she will have to die on one of them eventually. (although I don't know where Believe is filming. If it would also be Vancouver, then maybe she could swing reoccuring parts on both shows?) I really like her role on OUAT so I kind of hope she's only briefly in Believe

ReplyDeleteBelieve is filming in New York, so she can't film both at the same time. Maybe she'll appear in OUAT in the fall (filmed this summer) and Believe in the spring (filmed in the winter)? The whole thing reminds me of season 5 of Lost when a certain character didn't appear before being a regular again on season 6. I would have guessed that the show would just come back to Mulan/Aurora/Phillip later if it weren't for Neal being upped to a series regular.

'Arthurian stuff'. Oh, I'd love to see a Morgana/Regina scene! Or even have Merlin or Arthur appear.

ReplyDeleteI hope he comes back eventually... flashabck or even maybe having escaped Cora's wrath somehow.... maybe Mulan and Aurora found him wherever they found Philip... I don't know. Either way I'd be down for more Lancelot....
