    Obsess much? Yikes. Elena better have a damn good plan because the likelihood of her killing Katherine before she kills her is very very slight.

    ITA, but can you blame her? after everything Katherine's done to them, I'm surprised none of them has tried to kill her before. And even if she were a saint before killing Jeremy, it was her brother. I'd want to kill her too.

    It's not about being smart - smart characters aren't as relatable as the ones acting on emotion. We don't always use our brains but do what our hearts tell us to. That's not smart - obviously, but human :)
