As you know each year prior to the any episodes airing we ask the knowledgeable SpoilerTV Community to try an predict which shows will be Renewed and which ones Cancelled.

Note: We hope to has some promos for the new CBS Shows available shortly if you'd rather wait to see them before voting.

Last year we had an 80% success rate that you can see here in this table.

With ABC yesterday announcing their schedule (See here) it's time again to see if you can predict which shows will be renewed/cancelled.

There are 2 Polls below. One for Renewals and one for Cancellations. In each poll select the show(s) that you think will either be renewed/cancelled and then press vote.

Before the season starts we will collate all the predictions and post the table that we'll update during the 2013/14 season to see how your predictions went.

Can we beat 80%?

Note: We will be doing the same of the other broadcast networks after they have released their schedule.

  1. It's funny after what they said at their upfronts you put "Parks & Rec" as a CBS sitcom.

  2. No Criminal Minds in that poll? I for one think it will be renewed ;) :D and Park and Recreation is not on CBS :)

  3. Opps, I knew I forgot one. Should be there shortly.

  4. Renewed:

POI: Great show fastest growing show on CBS (Syndication at S4 - 88 Eps)7
CSI: Best 10pm show, CBS can make money out of CSI Franchise, renewed to S15 and maybe S16

    NCIS Franchise: TV's top shows

    Cancelled:

H5O: Terrible Monday night ratings in S3 would have reach 88 eps by S4, Friday night Death Slot
Mentalist: Seems like 6 seasons is enough and Sunday 10/9 averages 8 million
    Most of the new comedies

Ratings: I hope POI does well behind NCIS and LA, it deserves it but the slot average is 10.5 million, hopefully POI can maintain its usual 14 million per episode.

  11. I actually want CBS to be done with The Mentalist by the end of season 6. Enough is enough.

  16. Veterans:
    NCIS: Renewal
    NCIS LA: Renewal
    POI: Renewal
    Criminal Minds: Renewal
    CSI: Renewal
Elementary: When was the last time CBS canceled a sophmore show? Renewal for that reason alone, sunday or friday bound though
    H50: Renewal
    Blue Bloods: Renewal
The Good Wife: Canceled (it could get a 6th season if intelligence is canceled though)

    The Mentalist: Canceled
    The Big Bang Theory: Renewal
Two and a Half Men: Canceled, contingent on at least 2 new comedies hitting big time
    2 Broke Girls: Renewal
    Mike and Molly: Renewal

    New Fall Shows:
Hostages: Canceled (I don't see serial working for CBS... Plus I don't think the lead-in will be compatible and I think it will hurt it being against voice fueled blacklist)
    Mom: Renewal
    We Are Men: Canceled
    The Millers: Renewal
Crazy Ones: Could go either way... Canceled
Intelligence (it is more midseason but we know the scheduling so it fits here): Tossup but I think they will renew it

Midseason Entries aka true tossup territory:
Friends with Better Lives: Renewal if they are smart enough to put it after How I Met Your Mother last string of episodes
Bad Teacher: Canceled, but really I have no idea where it will go or how everything else will be perfoming, so it is hard to say
    Reckless: Canceled

So basically, I do think Intelligence will be renewed, but it will be a toss up renewal IMO. I don't see they will ax more than 2 veterans, and I think they will cut the sunday ones, as the friday ones will be younger, unless one of them completely crashes this season, in which case I give the good wife the hedge. I would be surprised to see the mentalist sticking around after this season. On the comedy side, I would be pretty surprised if Mom is not renewed and if We Are Men is not pulled. Thrusdays are harder to call but I am leaning towards renewal for The Millers and decent enough, but not decent for 9pm hour for CBS performance for the crazy ones, ultimately leading to its demise. But I could be surprised. As I've said, I expect at least 2 new comedies to hit big time, with possible a third one (friends or crazy ones) somehow working, thus leading CBS to get rid of two and a half men.

  17. I doubt CBS will cancel 3 veteran shows in the same year, especially with them only having 1 new drama timeslot this season. It is possible but unlikely. I think H50 will make it.
