:) FINALLY the amnesia plot is over and Juliette believes him. Now all I can ask for her is to add the same new dynamic that having Hank learned the truth added to the show earlier this season. I didn't care about hank 'til he learned the truth, hope same time happen with Juliette.
I love so much see Hanks work with all those others characters (rosalee, Monroe, the captain) without Nick around. He sure knows his way around wessen now
I really liked this episode, and I thought I wasn't going to because once again, a magic kiss is involved. But a good part of Grimm has to do with people being bewitched, or obsessed, so the story fit the arc. And it was certainly Nick's turn. First it was Hank (Adalind's cookie), then Juliette and Renard. It helped that Juliette, having been through something like that, knew not to blame Nick. And the end was so sweet. I couldn't believe she actually accepted that there are Wesen. So now the Scooby Gang is complete, missing only Wu. And I don't think it will be hard to convince Wu.
Can someone tell the truth to Wu now? xD Poor little guy
BTW: is there anyone who knows if the actor playing Hank is hurt in real life? It was kind of random him coming back hurt especially when it doesn't seem to be usefull for the plot.
Grimm is currently my favorite show but to say this was poor is being generous. We just got out of a 1/3 of a season long love obsession story and here it is again. Did the writers run out of ideas already? I am glad that Juliette got her memory back and we can end the amnesia subplot from hell but I would hope for something a bit more original. Plus, it basically ends with her palming his chin and saying, "Look at me." Surely someone somewhere could have done that for the muse's other victims. A lot easier than most of the cures on this show are.
Ya but it seems like she made sure her victims didn't know what she was. Also, what girl would stick around her man if he became obsessed with another woman. It would have been a slower build of obsession, as she said Nicks grew super fast because of his power. No one I know would be standing by her man as he slowly fell for someone else. Therefore, no spells would be being broken for anyone else.
Overall not bad... but I just felt like part of the point was trying to create relavence for Juliette's character again. In the first season her character had a point, she tied Nick down to the human world and there was the interplay of Nick being forced to constantly lie about his life. But with the whole amnesia thing she kinda became a distraction for the season, they could have killed her character off last season and very little would have been different. Now with her knowing the truth and mostly accepting it... again what is her purpose?
I guess I would have liked the episode more if it had happen like 10 episodes earlier...as it was, it was just a "thank god it's over" feeling. But otherwise, it was predictable from start to finish...seeing Nick's support system at work was great though. But was there a reason to let the Musei live?
I look forward to seeing how she deals with Nick's Grimmness...it was the plot I wanted to see the second season, but I guess I'll have to wait for the third.
Bahahaha! I wasn't the only one that thought that about Renard. As soon as he sat told her she's free to go that's exactly what I thought he was going to suggest.
I'm so happy the amnesia story has ended now and that Juliette seems to be more open to Nick's Grimm story. She actually remembered that Nick told her about wesen! I'm looking forward to next week when Juliette gets a show-and-tell with Nick's wesen friends.
A "just okay" episode for me. I too am glad that this whole amnesia thing with Juliette is finally over. I also wanted that big kiss to bring back Nick.....oh well. :(
I still can't get used to having Grimm on Tuesday night. Just about forgot it was on last night!
My favorite part had to be when Renard got involved with this case to help out Nick. That ending where we see him change was awesome!!
I found it weird that he returned harmed from his trip it was sort of random, then I remembered that his last scene previous Hank's vacation, he only appeared being pushed out his desk chair. :D
I was laughing when the other Wesen was trying to reach the gun and Renard looks at him and says "really" lol Why he think he can grab the gun when Renard was standing by lol
All i can say Renard's half brother better watch out bc Nick is one powerful Grimm now that it's been confirmed by the women he kissed and i think he became powerful after losing Juliette from her Amnesia
That was not a definite answer. More that the likely hood of it have happening previously would be slim. Nicks obsession was noticeabley out of character because it happened so fast. Most peoples would have seemed like a more natural progression of 'falling' for someone.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Thank You for ending the way I wanted! Actually, it ended even better than I wanted!!! Oh my! That was so great.

ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you on the ''too easy'', I was expecting that at least it needed a kiss or something at the very least
ReplyDeleteI thought it would be a kiss that broke the spell too. A traditional fairy tale ending.

ReplyDeleteYep he got hurt. Seems several actors off TV shows I watch have gotten hurt lately.
ReplyDeleteGreat, Juliette is only relevant by being a deus ex machina through the power of love. And I weep.
ReplyDeleteLoved the ep and really loved the way the amnesia plot was handled, but I'm glad that it's finally coming to an end

ReplyDeleteI kept thinking Renard was going to suggest she go to Vienna for a chat with his brother. :-)
ReplyDeleteLoved the ep...loved the look on her face when she realized Nick was a Grimm. Juliette's totally back. yay!
belatedly figured that the reason Hank was rolled out of the precinct because of Russell Hornsby's leg injury.

ReplyDeleteWho says that they weren't? After all, if a spell was broken she would just move on and the victim would believe that he just fell out of love.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing how she deals with Nick's Grimmness...it was the plot I wanted to see the second season, but I guess I'll have to wait for the third.
ReplyDeleteGood point about Nick falling faster than anyone else.
ReplyDeleteIn future episodes I'm hoping to see Juliette use her knowledge of animal medicine and behavior to help predict what the Wesen will do.
ReplyDeleteI just don't like Juliette at all.. I guess maybe its the way the actress is playing the part.. but she really gets on my nerves
ReplyDeleteBahahaha! I wasn't the only one that thought that about Renard. As soon as he sat told her she's free to go that's exactly what I thought he was going to suggest.
