I thought it was "Great". I would have voted Awesome if Kelly's traveling girlfriend hadn't shown up preggers. Oh com'on ... that is so cliché timing wise. Did Renee forgot to tell Kelly "About that unprotected sex we had- I just discovered I was 5-6 months pregnant. WooHoo! You're going to be daddy ain't that grand ...Oh hi, Shay (Awkward)" . My eyes just about rolled out of my head.
I was not a Lauren German fan when she was on H50 and in truth that colored my view of Shay on CF and it took me half dozen or so CF episodes to shake off my dislike of her character on H50 but now I really like Shay.
The rest of the episode was amazing and emotionally heart-stopping .
It was awesome! A bit disappointed at the ending though. Was expecting more to the cliffhanger! But the rest of the episode was too awesome for me not to vote awesome.
I thought it was awesome. The show needs more Shay. I think she's the best part of it. I really like Hermann to tho. And Dawson. Everyone but Casey and Mills. Casey is boring and Mills is always mad and a child. They should replace Mills next season. Intense episode, very good for a season finale.
I liked Lauren on Five-0 that's what made me watch CF in the first place and also Jesse Spencer loved him on House and fellow Aussie :) I loved Shay from the beginning very opinionated and open minded always fun to watch
Loved the final 10 minutes with Herman talking to his new child soo cute. And OMG I can't believe Renee is pregnant and announced it in front of Shay with Severride sooo heartbreaking when she only just found out earlier her first IVF treatment didn't work. I hope there's a way next season
CF was my fave new show to watch this season every episode was action packed all the way through didn't disappoint me at all just don't understand why not many people aren't watching
Don't necessarily agree about Casey - the man just lost Halley (I'm trying hard not to roll my eyes here, I never cared for Halley - Dawson/Casey FTW!) but completely agree about Mills. I think just the character is (likely depicted as) too immature for a relation at the moment. I hope Mills transfers to Chicago PD - I'm not sure if I'm even going to watch Chicago PD unless the show intends to have several crossover episodes with CF.
Huge speculation - something happens with or to Renee (have no idea what the mechanism will be) and Kelly and Shay legally adopt her baby. I know the finale insinuated that Kelly was the unborn baby's father - and likely is - but unless Kelly's name is on the birth certificate as the father, in most if not states Kelly would no legal parental rights without a paternity test. Shay would have no legal rights, but Shay has previously shown her intent to become a mother both by going through the in-vitro process with Kelly and she was previously intending to co-parent with her pregnant ex- gf.
That sounds like a good way for it to work out to me, it would solve what happens to Renee ( I guess she would have to die in childbirth or something like that) and that would probably give Kelly and Shay a baby most likely if it is his. Now we just have to wait 4 months to find out what happens :(
Poor Shay I really wanted her and Kelly to have a child together, I wonder how long they'll gap the season's together I wanna know what makes of the Gabby/Casey thing
How it plays out depends somewhat if real time passes before the season 2 premieres (i.e., the 4 months passes on the show, too.) IF real time passes Renee looks like she'll be close to term. The show already done the emergency birth, infant in distress thing in the with Hermann's wife, so I'd rather skip the dying in childbirth drama within the first few episodes of S2, and Kelly's already rescued Renee from a car accident. I hope Renee showing up pregnant had more purpose than re-breaking Shay's heart again. There's good drama and then there's cheesy over-the-top melodrama. Assuming this is the route the show takes in "giving Shay" (and Kelly) "a baby" I'd prefer if Renee just decides that motherhood is not her thing yet (Kelly and Renee do not have smooth sailing) and turns over her parental rights.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What the actual ****!! Wow. That was def the last ending I expected.
ReplyDeleteThat was definitely one Hell of a ride, only downside gotta wait for the fall to see how it all plays out

It was really good, I had heard of a death in the finale but I'm glad it didn't happen, it was dramatic enough without it
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great episode but I wonder how the pregnancy will play out now that Sarah Shahi is a regular on Person of Interest ??

ReplyDeleteSo is Peter Mills gonna be a cop? since he went to the police station for a application?

Nope didn't see it coming
ReplyDeleteI agree on Jesse Spencer -he's the top reason I started watching CF in the first place.

ReplyDeleteI actually stopped watching H50 when she left, because she left. I liked her character.

ReplyDeleteWell maybe he can die :P
ReplyDeleteMmm, that makes a lot of sense good point I didn't think of that, that's how Shay is going to get her baby I bet you guys are right!!!
ReplyDeletewhen I saw the actress name at the beginning, I immediately knew the ending...
