Loved the crime storyline. I was disappointed with the fact that 1. Jamie was shot, never addressed. 2. Vinny died in his arms, never addressed. Just wish they would have really explored that angle it would have given more depth. Hopefully we'll see some of that in S4. Can't wait...
I agree completely! It seems like there are a lot of missing scenes lately, especially when it comes to Jamie. Although at the end of the episode it was still obviously bothering him. Maybe they will talk about it more next season when he has to get a new partner.
I recently had some time to catch up on this show. This was a great set of episodes to end the season on this show. I liked how the gang story affected so many different people on the show, and how various characters were shown handling it. From Frank the PC, to Danny the detective investigating, to Jamie being the cop in the middle of it all, to even Erin and the D.A. office's side of it. The adrenaline was on high throughout, but there was still substance to the story, and there was a lot of heart too. My favorite thing about the show is the Reagan family, their love for each other, dedication to the job and the people they serve. Episodes like this really showed how they each care about their civic duty, and try to do the right thing, while still being human (ie, not perfect). It's just nice when it's a show full of a family of good cops, good people, trying to do the right thing. And I hope we get to see at least part of their family vacation when the season premieres.
The whole 3rd season was one big missing scene of Jamie, they were giving us scraps of him from which I expected more but we got nadda. Each time they started a story line with him they never gave a proper ending!!! I was hoping for more from this season!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I thought it was awesome! :) Glad to see a nice ending and I wonder if we'll find out about the family's holiday in Season 4
