Person of Interest - Guess The Ratings For Tonight's Finale

Person of Interest has had an excellent season. It's been a joy to watch the story progress through the previous 21 episodes, and things will all come to a head in the finale tonight

POI is the fastest growing show on US television, having grown its audience from its freshman season by nearly 1.2 million viewers. An average of 14.47 million viewers tuned in to each episode so far this season, with average 18-49 ratings sitting at 2.92.

However, the last 2 episodes of POI have earned season low equaling 2.4 ratings - rather strange considering we are this close to the finale. Audiences are still well above season lows though. The graphs on this page tell that story.

So, what's your guess for the ratings of the POI finale?? Vote in the poll below, and don't forget to share your speculation on what you think will happen in the comments below. You can also read the review of this season of POI here

Thanks for reading, voting, and speculating!

  1. Gone for a 2.6 seeing as the last 2 episodes have been 2.4 and we have the Glee finale tonight which always scores well in the 18-49 demo.

Would love it to get more but I think it will score more than last years Finale which was a 2.5 but less than the highs of 3.0

  2. Yeah I think that's about right. My guess would be a 2.7 though - if the viewership increases by just 1 million viewers on last week to 14 million, then a 2.7 rating would be about right for that. Fingers crossed!

That is not strange when you realize it's going against NBA basketball rounds. All male leaning shows (such as POI, SPN, and Arrow) are suffering as a result of facing basketball that's aired on TNT everyday now.
I think it'll have another 2.5 for the finale and will go up against next fall.

  4. 2.5. It had no finale bump last year (actually went down), so I am already being generous here. Grey's always scores pretty well in the demo in its final episodes of the season and although I suspect there is very little crossed audience, there is also Glee finale

  5. what i think will be the result and what i want it to be are different. clearly i want it to reach 3, but that's unlikely. so i chose 2.7.

Just finished watching the season finale. It was so disappointingly terrible I'm not sure I'll EVER watch my all-time favorite show again. The gun violence was a terrible substitute for creativity and intrigue. The plot had to have been only understood by the moron who wrote it. The tone of the new twist on Nathan and Finch's history was so diametrically opposed to what had been presented the first two years, it was deplorable. If the show had gotten rid of all these background characters, especially Root, and stuck to what the show had excelled in that made it so popular in the first place, I wouldn't have to be writing this personal death knell, and I'd be praising it again for being the best show on TV. Now, it's become a cancer, and I'm seriously ready to pull the plug. Jim Caviezel can't be pleased about the direction Nolan has taken. It was like watching the Titanic sink, only WORSE! So far, three of my favorite shows have bombed on their season finale stages..."The Mentalist," "Castle," and "Person of Interest." I hope "Nashville" and "Vegas" don't follow in their quicksand! Thanks for letting me rant. And, YES, I DO need a life!

Hoping to have a better one, but voted only for 2.6. Anything above this would be a real surprise considering the previous numbers.
