  1. I'm so glad Gillian's back on my TV again.

Ooh, this looks amazing and I can't wait for it!

  2. Even though NBC has a very poor record with serialized drama, I'll probably check this out.

  6. This looks fairly good and I like a number of the actors, but I think it could get old fast.
I think the plot might make for a better movie or very short run mini-series though....

Week 1 - Parent is forced to do something since terrorists have their child. FBI try to capture the terrorists and fail because the terrorist are outsmarting them.
    Week 2 - See above.
    Week 3 - See above.

Hopefully they do fall victim to the same thing The Following did by building up their bad guy as too brilliant to be caught only to have them make stupid mistake and get caught in the finale.

Definitely going to check it out though!
Hoping it works and they do not ruin it with poor writing and cliches.....

  12. I'm calling it now, Dermot Mulroney is the mastermind behind the kidnappings.

  13. The idea/storyline probably isnt big enough for a theatrical film, unless you could get Denzel to play the Dermot Mulroney part and Jessica Chastain to play Rachel T's part. I would agree that perhaps 10 hours would be better than 13, but I don't see why the writers can't tell one complete storyline in 13 hours and if the show is successful come up with a separate "Crisis" in season two with a few of the same characters.

    This looks awesome!!!

  15. I hope it does honestly.

Personally though I think most series centered on one pivotal event like this group kidnapping are almost always not as good the following season. The premise is just not designed for multiple seasons.

It is different if the leads are special ops types like in 24 or Strike Back. They can go anywhere regionally or plot wise each season. This show would be limited that way IMO.

At least it is called Crisis and like you note, if it's renewed each season can deal with a new crisis. Much smarter than Prison Break and the like that were just silly after Season 1.

    Here's hoping though!

It's got Gillian Anderson in it, that's all I need to watch it.

  21. This looks good but it feels like a movie I don't see how something like this works as a serial drama.

  22. It looks like it has potential (although the chaperone parent happens to be ex-CIA? OK) but it might end up a mess like 'The Event'.

  23. Looks quite good.

  24. The tagline is disgusting! "How far would you go to protect the ones you love"?

  25. Rand Ravich done that.. Looks great.

  26. If every drama lives up to its trailer this season, it's going to be one fabulous treat for TV fans. Here's hoping even half of them do. This looks phenomenal and it has a good pedigree of actors.

  27. Have anymore NBC trailers gone out? If not when will they be out?
