I was interested in the show because it had really good actors, but it seemed to me that the writing staff just didn't work up to their potential. All in all, I think it could have been a really good show if it had gotten the support it deserved
Oh nooo! that's such a dissapointment. This show was refreshingly quirky, always entertaining, shockingly funny at times, and just plain fun to watch. The cast was a perfect blend of talented individuals, and the writers' tongue in cheek attitude kept me tuning in. I will miss it!
Wow, shows the poor sense of humor and closed minded people that choose so called reality TV over funny intelligent comedies. Not so smart. We need o laugh more. Someone please pick this how up.
Sorry to hear that; it seemed really promising. I liked all of the performers, although I was never exactly sure what day and time it aired (perhaps part of the problem!).
Hard to believe that Tim Allen's show wasn't cancelled but How to live with your Parents was. Must have been a panel of men. How to live with your Parents is a good show and I dvr it weekly in order to enjoy it on the weekends. I hope it is picked up by another network; cable maybe.. as they take better chances on good programming.
Next to Modern Family and inching upwards, How to Live with Your Parents is the funniest sitcom on TV! Great cast, great writing and beyond entertaining! ABC, where is your sense of humor??
I give up! No more new shows for me. This has to be the 4th or 5th show I got hooked on this year that got pulled. Netflix is looking better and better. I would rather watch full seasons of old shows I never watched in first run!
I agree wishing another network would pick this show up, I loved the whole cast and like any other sitcom the storyline has to take hold and it takes a few shows, which they didn't even give the show a chance, normally Sarah Chalke is very unique and doesn't always fit in but here the WHOLE cast was perfect. Makes you wonder what is with the panel of judges for ABC are they a pool of REPUBLICANS????
This show started off a little slowly but has grown. It's pretty funny...and I didn't like it at first. I'm disappointed that the network won't give it a shot. It's on the same irreverent line as the comedy about the pie shop and the grocery store comedy that were cancelled. I guess we'll get more 2 1/2 Men and Mike and Molly drivel.
I hope ABC brings back this back this comedy show, l am so trying to watch the latest episode and they block all of them : ( awful : ( :( :( :( :( :( :(
I am so sick !!! Great cast, great script. A half hour of laughs. I know so many people besides myself that watched and loved this show. What is wrong with the industry. Get rid of some of the stupid reality shows.....
Ughhhh I was really enjoying this first season and thought it had a great mix of comedy and heart. And Brad Garrett needs to be on a sitcom. He's to talented not to be. Hopefully another lucky show will have him as a lead actor!
This was my favorite show aside from modern family. I am so disappointed that it was cancelled. It was so funny and smart. What a shame. I can't believe this is canceled and The Neighbors was renewed. Doesn't make sense.

it's a shame, really wanted this to be renewed :(

ReplyDeleteAw, kinda sad but not surprised.
ReplyDeleteAnd LOL, I'm so exhausted from today that I didn't even have the energy to write the whole title
I hope we still get to see the unpaired episodes.
ReplyDeleteI am really angry at this one. This is the second show which I have grown to like got cancelled, Partners being the first.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine! I feel exhausted just refreshing my internet! :)
ReplyDeleteI feel you but that's TV for you
ReplyDeleteIt's like networks have a hard time wanting to keep half hour comedies anymore. Idgi.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome for the workout.
ReplyDeletecalled it within 5 mins of watching the pilot. too bad, i like Sarah Chalke
ReplyDeleteI've given up at this point. No longer using titles for cancellations, just "It's cancelled". LOL, it works.
ReplyDeleteABC should probably go back to doing 1 hour comedies
ReplyDeletehaha!
ReplyDeleteTo bad I thought it was really good. I think it would have been renewed had it started earlier in the season.
ReplyDeleteReally!? Huh.... I thought it was doing decenty....
ReplyDeleteeff off !!

ReplyDeleteThank god! didn't like it at all! i just watched the pilot! from the very first couple of minutes i knew it was awfull
ReplyDeleteI loved this show! ABC needs to give these new shows a chance. It was great! Great cast too! Very upset about this one!! :(
ReplyDeleteBring this show back!!! It is so refreshing, and I can't get enough of Brad:0)))

The show had potential, but Sarah Chalke's character ruined it for me. Love Elizabeth Perkins and Brad Garrett.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this show!!! Can't they reconsider???

ReplyDeletethought it was adorable, ABC sucks. . .
ReplyDeletethis is a shame and why would they cancel it with a 2.0 demo any ABC would be lucky to get that kind of demo ABC is making a premature decision
ReplyDeleteWe looked forward to seeing it every week. Maybe it did start too late in the season, but ABC didn't give it much of a chance. Linda Medeen

ReplyDeleteI'm so disappointed! This show was great. I always watch reruns on the ABC app. Give them another shot please.

ReplyDeleteABC has let me down again. I LOVED this show. . . Funny, quirky, intelligent, of course they cancelled it! :-(

ReplyDeleteVery disappointed this show is cancelled. It was a great addition to the Wed night group of comedies. It's making ABC hard to count on anymore.
ReplyDeleteI loved this show. Each character is a hoot and the chemistry is right on. I am very disappointed. Can't some other network pick it up?

ReplyDeleteGood decision - wrong choice for daughter... granddaughter & grandparents o.k.
