Alexis Bledel back on TV! I am excite. Enlisted also sounds semi-interesting.
ReplyDeleteBledel's show is gonna have to fill in some big shoes....it's a remake of BBC's "Gavin and Stacey"!
ReplyDeleteSurviving jack sounds good especially with Christopher meloni as the lead
ReplyDeleteI'll check out Brooklyn 99 but that's about it. A sitcom starring Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel is broadcast TV's answer to Ambien. No thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'll be checking out Brooklyn Nine Nine because of Andre Braugher, but none of these comedy's do anything for me..
ReplyDeleteHere's what I think will be the fall schedule for Fox for 2013/2014
ReplyDeleteMon:
Bones
Sleepy Hollow (Following Midseason)
Tuesday:
Enlisted
Brookyn 9-9
Gang Related
Wednesday:
X Factor
New Girl
Thursday:
X Factor Results
Almost Human
Friday:
Glee
Raising Hope
Mindy Project
Saturday:
Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares
Not sure where to put Rake (can it fit late on Sunday?)
What do you all think?
Loving the Fox pick ups. A lot of male centered shows. Enlisted and Us and Them are my favorites, super excited for Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel to be back in TV
ReplyDeleteI'm in for Brooklyn Nine-Nine! Gonna have to see trailers for the rest of the comedies on Monday.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahaha. Cruel, yet funny.
ReplyDeleteSame for me. Only Brooklyn nine because of Braugher.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Surving Jack and Us and Them?
ReplyDeletemidseason maybe?
ReplyDeleteI don't think they'll hold out till midseason. With what they did with the goodwin games, I think they know better. I'm sure they'll launch all their comedies in The Fall in 2 comedy segements and hold of on 1-2 dramas for midseason to pair with The Following
ReplyDeleteEnlisted might be ok as its Kevin Biegel
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn Nine-Nine has the best potential
This is a LOT of comedy orders, especially considering FOX has the least amount of primetime space and they have already renewed The Mindy Project, New Girl and Raising Hope. I can't help but think at least two of these are going to get the Goodwin Games treatment and not premiere until it's upfront time.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong though they sound like strong premises and if they're funny I would love to get them sooner rather than later.
ReplyDeleteSo deadline was right about the # of comedy pickups. This still sounds crazy to me, I don't know where will they fit all these scheduling wise, but I am excited to see it. I think this means they will cut back on the hours of reality, it is the only answer IMO. Also, RH is definitely being sent to fridays now and so should the mindy project (Which was a mistake to renew in the first place)
ReplyDeleteI adored Gavin and Stacey, but the US don't have the best track record when it comes to adapting UK tv shows. I do hope it works out this time though.
