    Who the hell decided that those three are funny and likeable? Certainly not the audiance, but they've been putting them here and there, absolutely randomly in this series. Honestly, they should give them a send off and get on with it, instead of expecting to like them because they get more screen time that River, probably.

    i actually really enjoy Strax, Jenny and Vashtra... i'm pretty sure i'm part of the audience... pretty sure the other people i see blogging and tweeting about them being funny / liking them are part of the 'audience' as well.

    All I see is love for those three. Just about everyone in my corner of fandom wants to see a spin-off. Like Big Finish did for Jago and Litefoot from the Fourth Doctor's "The Talons of Weng-Chiang".

    If you don't like them you're certainly within your rights to say so but please don't speak for others. I happen to like all three and find them sufficiently amusing. Furthermore, giving them more screen time than river is just fine with me since I find that character only intermittently interesting and in such cases only mildly so.

    The day River is completely gone from this series can't come soon enough. I only liked her in series 5.

    I really liked her in the season 4 two-parter and then in season 5 I liked her progressively less and less until I wanted her gone as well.
